Thank you for your input Jim! That could be a workaround. I will see how the enumerators feel annoyed by the current functionality. I have like 30 fields where I would have to do it the way you described it but I don't know yet how handy the calculator comes or how much it will be really used.

Ok, on page 3 I narrowed it down to the relevant condition of the repeat (Question 4.8) which is causing this error: TypeError: Unable to get property 'nodeName' of undefined or null reference. When I take it out, the form is created, with any condition in that field it fails (it creates the form but the relevant section is not working properly. iPhone view is fine. Additionally it didn't seem to like a group inside a repeat (I could remove this one it wasn't really necessary).

Another update after playing around a bit: After removing the last two pages I still get the error message (this time with TypeError: Unable to get property 'nodeName' of undefined or null reference) but the 5 pages are created but relevant/required dependencies are not correct. After adding page 6 I get my old error again: Unable to get property 'on' of undefined or null reference and the web form is not created/displayed. After that I started all over again by deleting the survey and starting with only one page: no problem; with two pages: (survey has to be recreated due to changes to the gdb) no problem; with three pages (1-3): (survey has to be recreated due to changes to the gdb) -> nodeName error again. I checked on all groups and repeats but they all match. A survey of three pages is still created but the relevant/required dependencies are not correct as above. I removed page 3 and added page 4: (survey has to be recreated due to changes to the gdb) no problem; Added page 5: fields are added to the gdb, no problem; added page 6: new gdb needs to be created, -> Unable to get property 'on' of undefined or null reference, no webform removed page 6 and added page 7: new gdb, no problem. I am now elaborating on the pages 3 and 6 but couldn't identify the problem yet. On the side comment: Why does the signature that I define in Connect not allow me to enter a signature in the web form but when I create the form on the Website it's fine?

If I turn off the location sensor I still get this annoying message. It seems like it keeps reminding me until I have defined/confirmed the geopoint.

That happens to me when I copy and paste between xls sheets and the reference to validate the data gets missing. If you trust yourself you can just remove the validation settings for that column but then the field also does not give you the choice any more. You can remove the validation settings on the Data tab -> Data Validation -> Data Validation... -> clear all. Does that solve the problem?

Thanks for the reminder. I had to rush out of the office and forgot to attach it. I also updated my post. Thanks for looking into it.

Unfortunately that's the only Android device I have available - except that we have about 30 from the same type. And we will have to do the survey on these tablets. But I will try a stylus when I get back to the office... I have in general an issue with the performance on these tablet which I don't know how to overcome. But the signature looks really horrible...

After publishing the latest version of my survey (which is quite long, xls attached) I get the above error message when I try to open the survey in the web form. No error message during publishing. On Samsung Tablet it takes long (not to say forever...) to open but it opens eventually, iPhone is much quicker. Published with Connect 3.1.126 Edit: I already tried to recreate the survey by publishing it under a different name and a new service but it didn't help. I also had the brilliant idea to check the choice names and found a couple of apostrophs and blanks that I removed and deleted and published the survey again but no change.

My workaround to solve this issue was: -Upload image to AGOL account -Share to the public -Copy URL -Open code view of widget (or where the image was supposed to be added) and add the image manually with <img src="URL" alt="" style="width:xx px; height:xx px"/> where you want to have the image inserted. Maybe this helps someone...

Hi folks, I am using the first time a signature in a survey but I am very disappointed by the performance. We are doing our surveys on a Samsung SM-T285 tablet, Android Version 5.1.1, Survey123 version 3.1.159, works much better on my iPhone 6s. When I try to put my signature it looks like my daughter's handwriting when she was 2 years 😛 Is there anything I can do to make it look better (more detailed/precise)? I am afraid our clients will not be happy with this result. 😞

Hello folks, I have an integer question field with the calculator appearance setting. The output of the calculator gives two digits which makes the answer to my integer question invalid. Is there a way to round the output of the calculator output? (That would be my prefered way...) I guess the alternative way would be to use decimal answer and bind::esriFieldTypeInteger? Does that work?

It is still not perfect but at least I got a bit closer: if(${total_ex_calc}>=1000000, concat(substr(${total_ex_calc},0,string-length(${total_ex_calc})-6),",", substr(${total_ex_calc},string_length(${total_ex_calc})-6,string-length(${total_ex_calc})-3),",000"),if(${total_ex_calc}>=1000, concat(substr(${total_ex_calc},0,string-length(${total_ex_calc})-3),",000"),round(${total_ex_calc},-2))) translates into if price > 1,000,000 then x,xxx,000, if price > 1,000 then x,000, else x00.

Thanks a lot! I think I will test with the calculator appearance and hear what our enumerators think about it.
