You could write your query as such also: "LANDCODE" IN ('941', '980', '910', '940', '930', '734') Here is a SQL Query Reference Guide. Steven

Are you able to right click anything outside of ArcMap? You may check this article and see if these settings would help.

By 911 sites, I assume that's a point shapefile. Did you create a general address locator from this? Make sure the addresses in the 911 sites and excel document are formatted EXACTLY the same to get a good geocode. Steven

I'm not using a Mac but i have seen people experience the problem. Using a separate mouse shouldn't be any different. It's worth a shot though.

Seems like a strange issue. I would save your excel document as a csv in a folder that you already have connected inside ArcMap. Steven

Are you using a regular mouse instead of the MAC mouse? I've noticed that you still can't right click anything using a normal 2 button mouse even when running windows on a MAC. Try using the MAC right click when you load windows. Steven

I have a suspicious your shapefile has grown too large. See this article.
There is a limitation on shapefile component file size, not on the shapefile size. All component files of a shapefile are limited to 2GB each.
Accordingly, the .dbf cannot exceed 2GB, and the .shp cannot exceed 2GB. These are the only component files that are likely to approach the 2GB limit.
Therefore, the total size of a shapefile (the full set of component files) can exceed 2GB.

Here's what I would do. First Add XY Coordinates and run the find identical on the XY locations. Next join the identical records results to the utility pole layer. Select all the utility poles that are duplicates. Select from those that have whatever field you want to check for null and delete those features. Hope this helps you. Steven

You may be looking at a 3D buffer to find distances on a sloped surface. You can only do this if you have access to 3D analyst. Also, for landfills, you may want to bring in a soils layer. You don't want all that garbage leaking into your ground water supply so a low permeable area may be necessary. Steven

If your census data has a state or county field you can write a short definition query to show only the data in certain states or counties. You could also select the census block data and export it out. You can also select the features in edit mode, copy and paste them into a blank layer. You can clip the data to an existing boundary. Hope one of these options is what you are looking for. Steven

Your require statements have to be in the same order as your parameters. Flip ImageParameters and ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer around like so
require([
"esri/map",
"esri/dijit/LocateButton",
"esri/layers/ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer",
"esri/layers/ImageParameters",
"dojo/domReady!"
], function (
map, LocateButton, ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer, ImageParameters )

Ya, it says I have 8 of 19 members. Last time I checked it said 8 of 10 which confused me when I checked today. We didn't purchase more users so I don't understand why there are more. Maybe ESRI is feeling generous.
