Hi Jiang, This problem typically happens when an addin built from an older version of the WPF SDK is opened in a machine with a newer version of the SDK. You can try to fix the csproj file and update the reference dll to work around the porblem: Update the csproj file: 1. Open the WeatherUndergroundWidgetCS project your downloaded in Visual Studio 2. On Solution Explorer, right click on the project (not the solution), click Unload Project 3. The project name becomes WeatherUndergroundWidgetCS (unavailable), right click on it again then click Edit WeatherUndergroundWidgetCS.csproj 4. The .csproj file opens as plain xml text. Then look up for the <ReferenceFolder32>, <ReferenceFolder64>, <IDEIntegrationFolder32> and <IDEIntegrationFolder64> tags. In each of them you will see a piece of text like "ArcGISRuntimeWPF10.1.1@InstallDir". Replace the version number (e.g. 10.1.1) to your SDK's version (10.2.3) 5. When 4 places above have been updated and saved, right click on WeatherUndergroundWidgetCS (unavailable), click Reload Project Update the reference dll: 6. When the project is reloaded, open "References" to see its reference dlls 7. Remove ESRI.ArcGIS.OperationsDashboard.dll (which should appear broken) 8. Add the dll back from the Ops Dashboard bin folder that comes with the SDK, typically it resides in: c:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS SDKs\WPF10.2.3\sdk\OperationsDashboard\ESRI.ArcGIS.OperationsDashboard.dll 9. Set the Copy Local property of the dll above to False 10. Rebuild the project. Please let me know if that helps, Tif

Hi Kacey, The team has written an Export to CSV map tool which exports selected features from your map widget to CSV files (one file for each feature layer). You can find the tool through the steps below: 1. Open an operation view from Ops Dashboard 2. Go to WIDGETS > Mange Add-ins > Add 3. Search for "Export to CSV" (as shown below, please be sure to pick "All Results") 4. Double-click to add the addin After adding the addin file you can add the map tool to your view. You can then select some features from the map, then click on the map tool, it will prompt you to specify a location to save the exported CSV files. After you do so it will export the attributes of the selected features. Please let me know if you need more info. Tif

Hi Adam, So it looks like the problem comes only from the views that are created previously, and not the content in them. One more thing you could try besides checking the web traffic is clearing your browser cache, restarting your browser and loading the views again in the browser. And for your question.. Yes I am part of the Dashboard team and I work very closely with Carol. Will it be okay for us to meet Thursday after 11:30? Carol and I are both having presentations that morning and we would like to finish our sessions first so we can then be 100% focusing on your Dashboard problem. If that works for you I will ask Carol to send an email to us so we can take this conversation offline. I was trying to find an easy way to send you a private message but haven't been able to Thanks, Tif

Hi Adam, You mentioned that you have you "create a quick and dirty new Web Map in ArcGIS Online and a quick OD.... It works.". Does that webmap contain the same data as the one you created previously that doesn't work anymore in web Dashboard? If we can rule out mixed active content as the cause of the problem, can you turn on Fiddler and the browser's debugger when you load a problematic op view and see if any error occurs while the view loads? I will also be in the UC next week Tue-Thu. We can schedule some time to meet and work on the issue together if that works for you? Tif

Hi Adam, Could you share one of your problematic op views and its associated webmap+services with me so I can take a look? One possible reason that causes such problem is that you are connecting to your organization through https connection while the active content in the view was connected through http connection. In this case the unsecured http content might be blocked by some browsers. Could you check if this is what you are encountering? Thanks, Tif

Hi Mike, Could you provide more details on where you saw the error? For example, did the error happen right when the installation process starts, or at the end of it? A screenshot of the error message will be very helpful too. Thanks, Tif

Hi Peter, Were you able to login to your organization from the web browser using the same machine? On the blank area Dashboard is actually trying to show the login page, and the page itself is defined by your org admin, so trying to sign in from somewhere other than Dashboard will be a good test. There are a few more pieces of information that would be helpful for us to understand the issue better: - Using Fiddler or other web debugging tools, did you see any 4xx errors when the Dashboard was loading up the blank page? - Did you download your Dashboard from ArcGIS Online (http://www.arcgis.com/opsdashboard/OperationsDashboard.application), or from your Portal for ArcGIS? - How is your portal secured? Is it by token, network credential or PKI? Thanks Tif

Hi Jon, The web Dashboard is supported in Chrome version 19 or above, could you refresh your browser version and try again? If you still run into the problem after updating your browser, it will be helpful to send us a screenshot showing where exactly you see the message. Thanks, Tif

Since the release of the browser version of Operations Dashboard we have received a lot of questions from our users. The team has published a blog article, describing how to author operation views that can be used in the browser, and highlighting the capabilities within the browser app. http://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2014/04/03/operations-dashboard-in-a-browser/

Hi Joseph, Yes you can do that. Indeed, we have a sample widget in Esri GitHub that does a similar function. You can find the widget from here then look at the code inside the Widget_Table folder. You will need to make a few slight changes to the code: 1. Add reference to ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit 2. In TableWidget.xaml, add the namespace xmlns:esri="http://schemas.esri.com/arcgis/client/2009" 3. Change the <DataGrid> tag in the above file to <esri.FeatureDataGrid> 4. If your version of the WPF SDK is not 10.1.1, please also update the OperationsDashboardAddIns.csproj file by replacing the 4 occurances of "ArcGISRuntimeWPF10.1.1" with your version of the SDK e.g. registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESRI\ArcGISRuntimeWPF10.2.2 Then you can put other functionality to your custom widget. For your question about adding graphics to your map, you can take a look at the DriveTimesFeatureAction addin that comes with the WPF SDK. The typical location of that sample is: C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS SDKs\WPF10.2.2\sdk\samples\sampleapplication\Operations Dashboard Samples\DriveTimesFeatureActionCS For more information about feature data grid and adding graphics, you can read: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/runtime-wpf/samples/index.html#//02q20000007q000000 http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/runtime-wpf/concepts/index.html#/Adding_temporary_graphics/0170000000mp000000/ Thanks, Tif

Hi Pat, The source code of Operations Dashboard is not open and the built-in functions are not extensible, so a custom widget will be the way to go. However, there is a Dashboard sample implementing a list widget with feature actions that comes with the WPF SDK. The location of the sample's source code is typically at: C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS SDKs\WPF10.2.3\sdk\samples\sampleapplication\Operations Dashboard Samples\WidgetWithFeatureActionsCS. You can take it as a reference when you develop your custom list widget. Thanks and any questions please let me know, Tif

Hi Carma, Thanks for confirming that range domain data works for you. If you have a numeric field that is not the subtype field and does not have any associated domain, but is not listed in the Gauge's config window, it could potentially be a bug. Do you mind sharing the URL of the service to me so I can try to reproduce the issue on my side? And for your second question about the feature count, from your given use case a pie chart might suit you more than a gauge. You can take the screenshot below as a reference. When the widget is set up, it will show both the percentage and the count of the complete and the incomplete features. Thanks again and please let me know if that helps, Tif
