Thanks for sharing your solution with us, Horia. I learned something new today! Noppadon, when you start Operations Dashboard in dev mode while you're developing and testing your extension, you can use the debug tool (see the image below) to walk through the code and check the console for any error. Very often I found that the busy indicator is caused by some resources not loaded correctly, and those information can be found from the Network tab or the Console tab). Sometimes other web debugging tools such as Fiddler can also give you clues about what went wrong. Hope that helps, Tif

Hi Charlie (and Alina), Yes, WPF-based addins (such as this export CSV map tool) will only work in the desktop app and not the browser app. However, using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript you can develop extensions that can be cross-platform (please see here for more info). Cheers, Tif

Hi Karsten, In order to use it in your internal environment you will need to obtain the .opdashboardAddin file from Marco, which is a file compiled from the custom widget's source code. With the .opdashboardAddin file you can then upload it to your Portal and share it to your users. Please note that you need to be a publisher or an admin to add the opdashboardAddin item. Thanks, Tif

Hi Dahae, Currently the query widget is not capable of automatically refreshing itself as the refresh interval kicks in, as it was originally designed to take a "snapshot" of the data at the point when the query is executed. We have submitted an enhancement request to allow operation view publishers to specify if they want the query widget to re-execute based on the refresh intervals, it will be in our enhancement list. Thanks, Tif

Hi Daniel, The browser version of Operations Dashboard is only available in 10.3 Portal or above, and therefore it is not available in your 10.2.2 Portal. To get access to your views from the browser Dashboard, please upgrade your Portal and Operations Dashboard to 10.3. Once the upgrade is done, you should be able to access your existing single-display operation views immediately from browser Dashboard without additional work. Thanks, Tif

Hi Keagan, The WPF SDK help has a section about extending Operations Dashboard, it will be a good starting point for you to learn about extending Operations Dashboard. You can also watch the videos recorded from our technical sessions during the UC and Dev Summit in the last two years e.g. this video and this video. You can find the source code of the samples at Esri · GitHub Please note that to extend Dashboard, you need to have VS Professional or above. This might be something you need to consider before you get started. Thanks, Tif

Hi Josie, I just ran a quick test based on your given info above but got no luck so far. Did you run into this problem in Windows Dashboard, or browser Dashboard, or both? If possible, could you share your operation view so we can take a look? To do so, you can either share it publicly, or share it to a group in your organization, then invite the user tif.geonet to join the group. Please be sure all the view's referenced data (webmap and services) are shared as well. Thanks, Tif

Hi David, Regarding the crash you are seeing, can you please fill us in on the following: Does the crash happen when you open existing operation views with feature services, or when you create new views with feature services? Which version of Operations Dashboard are you using? (you can find the info from Add/Remove Programs) After the crash happens, can you take a look at the Windows Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application > find the last .Net Runtime Error (there should be two, please pick the one with Source = .Net Runtime) and copy over the text under the General tab to here? If you have a view that we can use to investigate the problem, could you share it to a group in your org, then invite the user tif.geonet to join that group? Please be sure all your reference data is shared as well. Thanks, Tif

Hi Kjetil, As Adam pointed out, with 10.3 Operations Dashboard you should be able to see the time value in popups. Please give the latest version of the app a try (you can download from it here) and let me know you still run into the issue. Thanks, Tif

Hi Ted, The Dashboard team is actually working on the support for current map extent in all widgets. As of today, when you configure the map widget of a view, you can add an attribute-based filter to a data source. In the upcoming release, when you define a filter data source you can enable the "use current map extent" filter in addition to any attribute-based filter. That way, when you pan/zoom to change the map extent, all widgets that consume that data source will be refreshed accordingly and they consider only the features in the current extent. Thanks Tif

Hi Andreas, I tested my data but so far have not been able to reproduce the gauge widget issue you mentioned above. Could you list out the steps to reproduce the problem in details so I can retry? In particular, can you elaborate how you did the decimal places settings in webmap, and in Dashboard how you set up your gauge widget? I can also take a look at your data if you can share your op. view + webmap + services to me. To do so, you can invite tif.geonet to a group in your organization then share your data to that group. I have attached a screenshot of my test result below FYI Thanks Tif

Hi Keith, The problem you ran into happens when you have labeling turned on on layers you use as data sources. The Dashboard team has rolled out a new version of the browser Dashboard yesterday, one of the bug fixes is to load the label layer correctly. If you open the view again, it should get opened correctly and the labels should show (You might want to clear your browser cache to make sure you have the latest browser Dashboard opened). Please let me know if that helps, Tif
