Hi James. I see this issue on survey's when the user is not logged in. For whatever reason, users on IOS keep getting logged out and then they get the message "Extensions Disabled" in the field with the pulldata - javascript function. Is there a known workaround for this case?

Good questions. I'm open to suggestions on the UI and how its displayed to the end user. My main goal with this is just proposing better integration with 3rd party apps from the main Portal/AGO user's point of view. Its difficult sometimes to teach people how to get to and use multiple apps. If they're already using AGO then this simplifies that process. As far as linking to other apps I'm definitely not proposing any javascript modifications. I completely agree this would be a major concern. I'm envisioning a backend page (for admins only) where they would be able to configure app integrations for item types and pass pieces of information from the item to a 3rd party app. Something like this:

Some item types in ArcGIS Online present the user different options. These include: - Survey123 - Includes a custom button for "Open in Survey123" - Workforce - "Open in Workforce for ArcGIS" Web maps have an assortment of buttons, like "Open in ArcGIS Desktop", "Create presentation", etc. All these mentioned are all hard coded buttons though. Some orgs may use them, some orgs may want to use different buttons, and some orgs may want to link to their own applications. Give us the ability to change the buttons displayed for item types. The main one I can think of would be Web Maps. Orgs could do something like this: Which could link to a web app like https://my-custom.webapp.com/#<webMapId>

Its just an idea at the moment afaik. I think Thomas's screenshot was a mockup of what it should be. Vote up to get esri to implement it.

Similar to how we publish layers with a uniquely assigned ID, we also need to assign relationship IDs. This is because applications sometimes reference these ids and there is no rhyme or reason as to how relationship IDs get set internally so every time I publish after adding a layer that partakes in a relationship the IDs change. Please allow us to assign a relationship ID or ensure that ArcGIS doesn't renumber an existing relationship in a map when publishing to arcgis server.

I think another potential enhancement would be to simply sort the maps by name. So if we prefixed them with category_MapName, all the category_* maps would appear grouped together. Currently Pro sorts them in its own internal order.

My solution to this was to go into the catalog view of the database, go to the table properties and Indexes, remove the GlobalID index, and re-add it with the Unique constraint. Do this on all layers in the feature services and supports ApplyEdits with GlobalIDS becomes true.

Anyone know if there's a way to clear a lock on a fgdb in pro without restarting the whole program? I close out of any active maps that use that fgdb, I refresh catalog tree, but nothing seems to "unlock" the database. Just curious if people have similar experiences or have a workaround. Closing/restarting pro takes a good chunk of my day it seems and I'd love to find an alternative. I can't find any way to remove the lock other than a full shutdown of pro. More details: - A standalone python script I'm working on in Jupyter throws a schema lock error - There is a lock file in the file gdb I'm working with Removing the layer from the map looks like it clears the lock, UNLESS I have browsed to the layer in the fgdb through the catalog pane. If I first connect to it via the catalog panel in Pro, then removing the layer does NOT remove the lock.

I'm also running into this in 10.7 on a postgres geodatabase. I've already verified that every table has archiving enabled, has globalids and the attachments use global ids. What else is there to check?
