I am in the process of building several models for a project.  I am trying to build a version that preforms in ArcMap and duplicating that model in ArcPro or vice versa. One particular model I have built iterates a clip function across a GDB. I knew prior to building the models that there would be empty outputs depending on the clip extent. ArcMap is fine with the empty outputs but ArcPro is not. It is that same exact model except for I built one in ArcMap 10.6.1 and the other in ArcPro, I did NOT run model built in ArcMap in ArcPro or vice versa. I have a simple question I need the 'New Feature' output to be located in the '1_ExportedFromS" GDB. I cannot get these 2 to "connect" as every time I do so I get an error stating "can only connect a variable to a process." What type of variable do I need? The '1_ExportedFromS' GDB is not created until the model has ran, so I cannot enter that path...correct? ... View more

The model starts correctly creating a folder, then creating 6 geodatabases. The next function I would like it to do is to preform an iterative clip (circled in black) across several feature classes. I want those clipped features to be placed in the "1_ExportedFromS" geodatabase.  I have a precondition line from "1_ExportedFromS" geodatabase to Iterate Feature Classes. Is this correct? How would I extract individual counties from a single feature class? I want each county to be its own feature class. Would this require an iterative function? Or could a single tool do this process? ... View more

So I am in the process of creating a model in ArcGIS and I am stuck on one particular point. I have about a dozen feature classes that I need to be “extracted” using the feature class to feature class tool, but I only want a subset of each feature class. The subset I am waiting are features that lie in a particular county. I am hoping to extract the subset in each feature iteratively so I dont have to run the same tool a dozen times.  I have successfully ran the model extracting the subset for 1 feature class using an SQL query but I have not been able to perform this action to run itervatively across the GDB. Does anyone have any suggestions to get this process to work? Thanks ... View more

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the size (i.e. GB, MB, KB, etc.) for a particular feature class and/or relationship class with a enterprise geodatabase? I am currently putting together a database architecture document and I was wanting to know the size in GB and/or MB of a feature class. I also have attachments related to some feature classes and I wanted to know the total size in GB and/or MB for those 'Blobs.' Thanks! ... View more
