Christine, Thank you for your response. The adminstrative lines were created with the adminstrative boundaries checked on. Since this is the case, how would I add a topology rule since they are not participating in topology? I have tried using the ‘Select By Location’ command but it queried the entire database. I then tried using the ‘Select By Location’ GP and changed the ‘Processing Extent’ to the current extent but it is still not selecting just the overlapping lines. Do you have any tips on what parameters I should be using to select just the overlapping lines using the ‘Select By Location’ GP tool? Thank you ... View more

I have tried this but I have a large amount of lines and it take awhile for the selection to process. Is there a similar approach I could utilize by extent? Many of the overlapping lines are different lengths, if I used the 'Delete Identical' GP tool how would I  know/verify if the proper line(s) are being deleted? Thanks ... View more

Amir and Tim, Thank you very much for your response! The reason we need to identify uncovered ‘Points’ is that throughout our migration process many of our parcels have lost coincidence, causing misalignment between parcels and creating unwanted ‘Points’. I have also noticed that many of our PLSS lines are not true two-point lines, which is also creating unwanted ‘Points’. In response, I created a ‘Task’ that will help to rectify the issues above. It recreates the PLSS lines, making sure they are true two-point lines and are coincident. At the end of the process, I am looking for an intuitive method to identify ‘Points’ that are no longer covered by lines and need to be deleted so they do not cause misalignments moving forward. ... Thank you for replying.  So I am trying to move annotation in my layout using the 'Annotation Tool' in the Modify Pane. I set the  annotation layer as only selectable layer and then try selecting the annotation I am trying to move but every time I receive attached error and I am unable to modify the Annotation (moving, change font, etc.) Please help this is extremely frustrating, I have gone through ton of posts, etc. and nothing is solving the problem. Amir (& Christine) Thank you for your replies! A meeting would be great!  Brief background, our PF is in a statewide database, it houses the lands the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) owns, manages, and leases. Each site (State Park XYZ) is made up of parcels conveyed via Deeds, Easement Deed's, Lease Agreements, etc. The PLSS was also digitized for any parcel IDNR owns, manages, and leases. PLSS goes from the section to quarter-quarter (1/16th sections) level. Previous SDE-GDB was based on The ArcGIS Parcel Data Model, von Meyer. Properties and PLSS were digitized from legal descriptions, original survey notes and plats, aerial photography, etc. Recently migrated our previous GDB to the Pro PF and have Enterprise stood up and can edit via branch versioning. I work closely with the IDNR Surveyor and would like to begin the process of importing his survey points as control points and have them replace corresponding PF points too. This will likely be done incrementally, on a site-by-site basis. His control points are either PLSS related (section corners, quarter corners, etc.) or parcel related (parcel control corners). Furthermore, we want existing features related to the point(s) to move too. I have been testing with Transform (modify pane), LSA, and most recently the Import PF Points GP tool. I can get all three to execute but I am not 100% sure which method I should be using? Thus far it seems that the Import PF Points GP tool works best but it is a manual process.
