Hi @NathanielEskridge,
Thanks for your submission. There's an existing idea that might cover your same request: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/remember-active-portal-as-part-of-arcgis-pro/idi-p/1215186
Can you please take a look to see if it addresses what you are looking for? If so, we can close this one.
Thank you,
Jonah

@LisaDygert1 You can select one or more layers in the Contents pane, right-click any selected layer, point to Sharing, and click Share As Web Layer to publish selected layers. Does this work for you?

In ArcGIS Pro, metadata is honored when publishing. Web layers store the metadata of what was shared such as the entire map, group layer, and so forth. See the following help topic for more information: Web layer metadata

Thank you for submitting this idea. However, supporting this functionality is not possible since Share As Web Layer or Overwrite Web Layer are not GP tools. With this being said, you can create your own custom tool by following the steps in this blog article. The article includes a project package containing a sample model and script tools.

Thanks to all of you who commented on this idea. As previously mentioned in this thread, this workflow is already supported. If you are experiencing issues overwriting web feature layer with views using ArcGIS Pro, please message me privately so that we can troubleshoot the behavior. Best, Jonah

Hi @ValeriaMartín, Is your group a shared update group? If not, I recommend creating one and sharing the web map to the group so that your coworkers in the group can view and update it. If you want to update the underlying data of existing web layers in your web map, the Overwrite Web Layer is the correct workflow. If your coworkers aren't seeing the overwritten web layer in the web map, it may be that they had the map opened in ArcGIS Pro. They will need to update/refresh the web map to see the changes. Saving a web map in ArcGIS Pro saves updates to the web map, but it doesn't update the existing web layers in your organization. You can add new data layers to the web map in ArcGIS Pro. As you noticed, these layers are published as new web layers when you saved the web map, For more information, please see the help topics below: Overwrite a web feature layer Save a web map I hope this helps. Best, Jonah

Hi @JenniferBorlick, Thanks for your post. When you assist new users who have requested help resetting their passwords, a temporary password is issued. They should be able to use it to change their password directly in ArcGIS Pro. (In the dialog below, the old password is the temporary one.) Thanks, Jonah

Hi @danbecker, Can you please confirm that you configured the redirect uri as "arcgis-pro://auth"? It doesn't need to be https since "arcgis-pro://auth" is not a localhost redirect uri. Jonah
