Make sharing as imagery layer work from Map or Scene

We are currently looking at using a dedicated Image Server and we are not very happy with the workflow that is currently needed to publish/ share Image Layers from ArcGIS Pro to this new Server.

Currently the only way to share an imagery layer is to for example perform a right mouse click on a TIFF in the catalog pane, and choosing Share As Web Layer. By choosing to share in this way the only layer type option will be Imagery.

However if I have the same TIFF in either a Scene or Map in Pro and I use a right mouse click on the tiff layer in the contents pane I will get the Feature, Tile and Vector options but not the Imagery option which is very confusing.

What I would like is the option to share Imagery layers from a layer that is already in a map or a scene. I understand that it is probably not possible if a user is trying to share a complete scene or map, but if a user chooses to share a single (imagery compatible) layer from the contents pane it should be an option.

This idea has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.7. Raster or mosaic layers in a map can be shared as web imagery layers that reference registered data or copy all data to ArcGIS Enterprise.
