I get the same error trying to use a script to update. It works fine if I manually use overwrite web layer in Pro. I wonder what Pro is doing to overcome this. I don't know why esri puts tools out there that don't have a way to implement via arcpy. Really annoying.

It only fixed the 0 buffer issue. I haven’t found a solution for the display issue, but from what I can tell, it isn’t related to the selection itself. Labels are created as they should be. Also, I wouldn’t suspect it has anything to do with the data itself. It happens if I publish the app using the esri sample data too. The only place I’ve seen it work properly is on the try it site.

I've been hammering on the zero buffer issue for days. For me it will return results...but the results are outlandish. For a selection of just a few parcels, a zero buffer returns 50 pages of labels. I've tried the develop branch and there's no relief. Also, aside from the zero buffer issue the correct parcel selection doesn't show up on the screen. The labels get generated for all the parcels despite not being displayed. I'm thinking it must be a data related issue since it seems to work with the esri data/services. I'm going to try eliminating all overlapping polys next to see where that gets me. It'd be wonderful if esri ported this functionality to an AGOL solution. These kind of apps are cool, but can be very difficult to get working right. Let me know if you figure anything out. Update: I edited the infoWindow.js file to get this working for me. I did a find/replace substituting the LOWPARCELID with PARCELID everywhere it occurred in the file. I'm not entirely sure why the code doesn't use something that is unique and invariably populated like OBJECTID instead of LOWPARCELID here, but it must need a text field. In any event, maybe this tweak will work for others who are having the zero buffer issue.

Hi Randall, I’m running tomcat 8.5.16. I don’t recall the linux web adaptor config giving an option for 80 or 443 like the windows one does. Tomcat runs on 8080 by default. Do you think I need to reconfigure the tomcat port?

I can't access services through my Centos 6.9 Web Adaptor. Although the Web Adaptor configuration worked, trying to reach the REST directory fails with "Could not access any server machines. Please contact your system administrator." Firewall rules are the same for the Centos server as they are for a Windows server with a working Web Adaptor on it. I can hit the tomcat page, but not the rest services directory. Running 10.5.1. The ArcGIS server is Windows 2012 R2.

So this just happened to me, I'm thinking that it is because of adding Python packages. Maybe arcgis api? Could've been Jupyter. Anyway, to fix it you have to rename or delete the Python folder (C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python) in the ArcGIS Pro install, then repair Pro. This will give you a fresh python install without whatever the bad package is. I'm hoping it isn't arcgis api, because I need to use it to automate some tasks, but all indications are that it might be the culprit. Update: After initially thinking this solution was working, it seems that it is not. Pro keeps crashing. I had to uninstall everything again and completely delete every directory involved in an Esri installation, delete every python installation and every environmental variable that has anything to do with python, then run a registry cleaner, then reinstall. It seems ok for the moment.

I'm hoping for this to come soon as well, but I'm also hopeful that the Pro replication tool(s) will be considerably better than ArcCatalog's tools, which are overly complicated (too many tools and steps). A complete replication manager with scheduling would be great. I really don't like the export xml > compare> import xml > sync workflow that exists now.

Hi Jake, The performance is far better in a web map, even using the same internet connection. In a web map, the tiles might lag a bit sometimes but all tiles will eventually render. In Collector, missing tiles may or may not ever render unless I pan and zoom around manually, quite a bit. I’d rather not have to store basemaps on the devices, if I can help it.

Please add functionality to Collector and AGOL to store feature service login credentials such as Windows domain user/password so users don't have to constantly log in layer by layer. As a GIS Admin, I get this complaint daily, especially from users who edit multiple layers.

When you create a replica, you are stuck with it. You need to create a whole new replica if you want to add a feature class. Could ESRI please make a tool for managing an existing replica's datasets?
