Hi Varinder, You can edit index features for both ArcMap Data Driven Pages and ArcGIS Pro Map Series. You may need to refresh the pages to update the series with the new geometries. Hope this helps, Tom

Hi Carsten, The options available from the New Layout gallery are not accessible and this gallery is not customizable. The "Import gallery path" that you refer to belongs to the Import Layout gallery and not the New Layout gallery. I noticed that the tool tip for the "import gallery path" control on the Layout tab in the Options dialog refers to the new layout gallery. This is incorrect. I'll enter an internal bug to have this changed. I recommend this blog post for more info - Customize your layout gallery. Here are some help topics that you may find useful: Add a layout to your project Layout files Hope this helps, Tom

Hi Sean, Thanks for the idea. You can view the actual text of the element by hovering the mouse over the text element in the Contents pane. The string is shown in the hover tip. Not exactly what you're looking for, but hopefully something that can help. Tom

I was able to name a project with the example you provided and the dynamic text element for the project name displayed this text as expected. Based on this GeoNet thread - https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/arcgis-pro-project-naming-conventions/td-p/544982 - it appears that there is a character limit on the name of a project - 260 characters. As long as your project name is below that you should be fine. However, it sounds like you do not want a text element for the actual file name of the project, but something more akin to an alias (user friendly name) for the project that can be changed in one place. This could be an interesting enhancement and I would encourage you to add one to the Ideas site - https://community.esri.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/arcgis-ideas For the time being it appears that Robert's suggestion above has promise. I hope it works out. Tom Tom

HI TadeášDěd, You should be able to get the project name using the Name tag under the Project section of the Dynamic text gallery. The specific help topic can be found here - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/add-and-modify-dynamic-text.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_E9D2C73425704159A1F912713E7AC19B Hope this helps, Tom

HI Robert, Sorry to hear that you are running into an issue using the Strip Map Index Features GP tool. I'm unaware of any recent performance issues using this GP tool. Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Thanks, Tom

Hi Alex, Text elements added to the layout are in "page" space. There is no connection to the geographic space of the map. If you want text to be anchored to a geographic location you need to add the text (static graphic text text element, feature label or annotation layer) to a map. Hope this helps, Tom

Marcel, Yes, at any age, 25 is not within the range 17-23. Looks like you found a bug. Can you contact Esri Support? They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. The good news is you also found a workaround! Tom

Hi Marcel, "1-2" is not technically a range. A range is usually understood to be of at least 3 values. Why are you using a dash (-) between consecutive pages and not a comma (,)? Is there a particular reason you need to use "-" instead of a "," between consecutive numbers? Thanks, Tom

Hi nmarieh, I did a quick test on 2.6 using a file geodabase feature class of US States. The layer uses a unique value renderer and is part of a group layer. As you can see from the screenshot below all text elements of this legend item are checked on. The export result matches what I see in the layout. Now lets turn off all the text except for the labels. When I export I get what I see in the layout. With the current information I have I am unable to repro the problem you are reporting. There could be something specific with your data that is causing the problem. Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Hope this helps, Tom

Hi Helen, Unfortunately, enhancement requests are not available to the search engine. I'm unaware of any specific idea available to vote on, however, you could contact support and add your name to ENH-000105494 if you wish to add weight to the importance of the issue. Thanks, Tom

Hi Helen, Adding this functionality to the Pro Legend is still on the "to do" list. We may get to it in the next year. You should be able to search the bug number - ENH-000105494 - at the support page. Unfortunately, when I tried I did not get a result. I'll follow up to see what might be wrong with the search. Tom

Hi Miles, Sorry that your experience with grid labeling is not what you'd hoped. We have plans to provide an option to set ticks and labels parallel to the map frame edge. I'm hopeful we can have this available to cartographers like yourself within the next year. If this is something you wish to keep track of I would highly recommend that you contact support and enter a bug. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. While posts like these are important feedback and do get read they do not have the same weight as an actual support issue that is being tracked in our system. Thanks for spending the time to help us identify areas of the software that deficient. Tom
