Anyone come across the inability for an Anonymous User to access a Web App deployed on Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1 via Web AppBuilder Developer Edition v1.2? The Web Map is shared to 'Everyone' as is all of the content and the basemap is the standard out of the box Esri basemaps. Interesting thing is the same user (Anonymous) can access the Web Map that feeds into that Web App. Also that same user can access the Web App if it was built through the Portal wizard for building a Web App. So, in a nutshell why can't an Anonymous (non named users) access Web Apps published through Web AppBuilder Developer Edition v1.2?

We are using the Esri.ArcGISRuntime.Portal.SearchParameters to customize a search tool for our end users but it is returning hundreds of records of preinstalled Esri content in multiple languages (ex. Story Map Journal in every language). I would like to be able to delete that content from our Portal or filter it out of the search results. It doesn't appear you could easily filter out all of this content with the available search parameters. Anyone ran into this and have a suggestion? Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1

Curious if there is a solution for this issue. We would also like to remove or filter out the Esri content (especially foreign language) that returns in the Portal for ArcGIS search results (v10.3.1).

Greg, Sorry for the late reply. I did not replace the images myself. We put a support ticket in with Esri and they helped us to locate and replace the images. It was easy to replace the images, just over right the file with the exact same name but locating the images was more difficult. The file paths had several coded folders with digits for names (ex 015726229375). You might be better off having Esri help. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, is there anything I could do to help, would you like the PNGs that I received from Esri?

Hi Matthew, Sorry for the late reply, try this. If you want a unique font it must be installed on the server before you are able to change/apply it. .galleryNode .galleryLabelContainer {font-family: Font name here; font-size:18px; color: #FFF ; font-weight: bold ;}

RJ, thank you for the reply. It seems 10.3.1 is our solution and I am talking internally to make that move. We have moved everything (ArcMap, ArcSever's, Portal for ArcGIS etc.) to 10.3.1 but this particular GeoEvent Processor Manager. It seems like this may be the catalyst to take the next step. Thanks again, Ben

Any suggestion on an input connector or modified input connector which will allow credentials to be embedded in the header with the below format? I'm working with a fleet tracking vendor (Spireon) and their API requires the header (with authorization string and account ID) to be embedded in each GET request. I am working with GeoEvent Processor 10.2.2, any suggestion is appreciated. %curl - H "Authorization: Basic [your auth string]" - H "Account: [your account ID]" https://api.us.spireon.com/api/asset

I agree with Herdis, the trick is selecting Save after applying the new thumbnail.

Diego, that's helpful, it doesn't look like your certificate should be an issue but can you check the details tab of the certificate dialog that you are in on the above screen shot and say whether it is an SHA-256 (see below). Also, if it is SHA-256 and it's from a Certificate Authority (CA) which it appears to be in your screen shot then it could be an authority that is not trusted somehow. We ran across a GoDaddy cert that Esri GeoEvent Processor did not trust, figured it out through a Esri Support Ticket and had to change the cert type.

Jan, that's interesting to know. It might be worth reporting to Esri, perhaps it's a bug. If the FGDB is small enough would you be willing to attach it to this thread, I'd be happy to try and replicate it on my end.

From my experience Esri mobile products only supports CA Signed Certificates (from certificate authorities) or SHA-256 certificates but not SHA-1 certificates. Check your certificate type and if you can change it to a CA Signed Certificate it might alleviate all of your head aches. The SHA-256 will work but because it is not signed but a trusted certificate authority the OS will ask the end user if they trust the site and should proceed.

We stream our live vehicle fleet data into our GIS with GeoEvent Extension. Sounds like you are not looking to add extensions but this is a viable option for handling live/streaming data.

You could use Domain To Table (Data Management Tools - Domains) and batch the jobs to export all the domains. Not sure about how to export Subtypes though.

I'm actually using Table to Domain in ArcCatalog 10.2.2 without any issue. I'm bringing geodatabase tables into SDE as domains. Is it possibly the table type that may be causing the issue? What type of table is the source.

Thanks Kyle, adding/designating a hosted server to the Portal configuration was the trick to unlock the tile layers capabilities (among others). Thanks both Kyle and Jacob for your help and suggestions!
