I placed a ticket with Esri this morning regarding this issue. I'll post the results here in case other come across the same problem.

Chris, thank you for both responses and the link to Melinda Morang's posting. I found all of the suggestions very helpful and I am in the process of reviewing my dataset to identify the problem(s). Though as of this morning I still haven't solved my problem, in fact one of the changes I applied resulted in a Build error. So, this could take some time but I will be sure to revisit this posting and acknowledge my error (once identified) and what the correct answer was. Thank you again

It reads like your SDE feature class was published to ArcGIS Online as a feature service? If so then it essentially copied the SDE feature class to ArcGIS Online and it is hosted by Esri. In that case your edits publish to that hosted layer but do not replicate back to your SDE. I do not think there are out of the box synchronization tools between SDE and ArcGIS Online yet. If you want edits to write directly to SDE than I believe you need a different workflow and I don't think ArcGIS Online will be part of it, at least until Esri releases new versions which provide for synchronization with SDE. I think your solution may involve Portal for ArcGIS which is essentially the ArcGIS Online framework but hosted locally on your companies servers. Hang tight though because someone may correct me. Good luck and I hope this was helpful.

I ran into what I assume is a bug when taking a map offline that contains feature layers with definition queries applied. I have a pipeline layer which contains all of our pipelines but the end user would like to be able to selectively display the pipeline by commodity. So I published a map with the pipeline feature service added multiple times and definition queries applied for each commodity. This map works fine as a web map or streaming it on Collector. However, taking this map offline results in an error “Map Download Failed. Unable to create replica. Please check your parameters. Error in creating runtime geodatabase.” I can get that same Web Map successfully offline by removing the layers with definition queries. Hence, I assume the definition queries are creating the error. Just curious if anyone else has encountered this and if there is a solution, if not I will place a support ticket with Esri. Thanks in advance.

My company purchased/licensed the complete North American Navteq Streetmap for 2014. I am new to Network Analyst and would like to update the streets to include and route along newly added private roads. I read through the Network Dataset Help and completed several of the tutorials. To keep it simple and develop a workflow which I could apply to all of my new roads I started by adding only one road segment. I added the segment, insured it snapped to the existing roads, and ran the Build tool on the Network Dataset. Then I attempted to solve a route with the destination (Stop 2) being at the end of the new road segment. The result has been an error (screen shot attached) even after multiple attempts of assigning more attributes to my road segment and modifying restrictions. The error reads Warning: No route from location "Graphic Pick 1" to location "Graphic Pick 2".Error: No solution found. What am I missing? Is there a processing step/tool that I failed to run or some key attributes that are required which I failed to populate. I'm guessing it's a missing attribute but I can't easily find a list of key attributes for Navteq network datasets. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Ashley, I've never edited the out of the box widgets but I think it is possible. You also can create custom widgets from scratch, either way you would have to start by installing Web AppBuilder for Developers, there are many blogs and posting that can help with the installation if you have questions. Also consider joining and posting questions to the Web AppBuilder Custom Widgets group. Hope this helps and good luck.

Rebecca, thanks for your comments and continued support. I can see that you are able to run Web AppBuilder on two separate machines under the same user/account and App ID. I think I am just missing something on my end, probably something minor but it is causing the problem. It's not a major concern so I am going to detour around it and just work on one machine but I will revisit this when I have time and solve it on my end. Thanks again for your help and I'm sure we'll be talking again in the near future.

When I pull up Web AppBuilder on machine #2 it looks likes below. The URL points to machine #1 and there are no tools or functionality in the browser, though it doesn't give me any errors. Strange we are getting different results, it means I must be doing something slightly different than you.

Rebecca, your reply was very helpful but it didn't seem to solve my dilemma. I added the second machine to the Redirect URI's under the App Registration so that both machines would be registered under one App ID. I was then able to open the Web AppBuilder on the second machine but it wasn't fully functional. I think what is happening is the first machine is still the primary as it's machine name is designated in the URL which is defined earlier in the registration process. I believe I am back to only having Web AppBuilder installed/registered to one machine per user. This is okay, it's not a major limitation, just something I ran into and wanted to get feedback on. Thank you though for your reply, it was appreciated and helpful.

When registering Web AppBuilder on ArcGIS Online, can you have more than one machine registered? I am trying to register two different development boxes but I am running into a problem (Error 400) when I attempt to register the second machine. When I unregister the first machine then the second machine can be registered and the Web AppBuilder install completes successfully. I am doing all of this under one user/account.

David, sorry you are experiencing this issue. It's new to 10.2 I believe, it wasn't the case with older versions of ArcGIS. I have several historical mxds made in older versions that now export the tables incorrectly when I update the maps. Our solution has already been suggested in the list of replies. We edit the tables in XLS to not have neighboring cells with any fills. This is very time consuming but it works. Hopefully Esri addresses this issue in the 10.3 release. Good luck

Hi Venus, I think Dan is on to something. In my experience all of the ArcGIS Online basemap content is WGS 84 (WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere). Perhaps clip out a small segment of your data, reproject to WGS 84 and test it out. BTW love your photo, I've been there before Good luck
