Hello guys, I bumped into this very same issue. WEBGISDR tool ran but there is missing the ArcGIS Datatore backup in in. Only Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server backups are done. In our case the problem was caused by closed ports in the firewall between machines. Look at this picture:

@Jianxia Thank you for your answer and clarification. I totally understand the needs for breaking changes. I appreciate they are always well documented.

@AndyWells @DavidDas__GISP Unfortunately every ArcGIS Experience Builder Developer Edition release had some minor or major breaking changes from previous version. It means that custom widgets have to be little bit modified everytime the new release come up. We hope the breaking changes won't be that often as we can see it now. For instance ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Developer Edition had little or no breaking changes in the latest releases. Maybe @Jianxia could tell us more about future plans to have/not to have breaking changes in the future ArcGIS Experience Builder Developer Edition releases.

Hello dears, I am very interested in this idea, especially in multilanguage Field aliases. The aim is to provide fully localized application (e.g. Experience Builder app) including localized datasets (Field aliases which can be seen in Attribute table widget). Is there any other way how to achieve it than publish two completely same datasets but with different field aliases names? Thank you, Jan

Supporting this idea. Furthemore the similar behaviour is available in ArcGIS Hub text widget where I can use html/css to specify my content to my needs. I would appreciate the same in Experience Builder text widget.

Hi guys, I would like to ask if it is possible to have comma decimal separator for my data in ArcGIS Hub instead of dot. I would expect that ArcGIS Hub will take this setting from AGOL where the Language and Region is set to Czechia => comma as decimal separator. So the data in AGOL have comma decimal separator, but when you add them to ArcGIS Hub Catalogue and look at them in ArcGIS Hub, they have dot as decimal separator (see the screenshots). Is this the known bug? Thanks for you help. Jan

I have one more importat question. How long the precreated data for download (CSV, SHP, ...) stay cached and ready for instant download? I can observer that sometimes the user needs to push the button to recreate data eventhought no updates were edited? see the hub Vyhledávat '*' | Portál AgriGIS - Production (arcgis.com) Thanks for your valuable inputs, Jan

Hi guys, very appreciate your prompt responses and thanks for sharing some docs links. Good news you woking on improvement of infrastructure as well. Thanks for that. 1) Downloading FGDB is enabled. Anyway the user does not know that FGDB is the best option so usualy goes with SHP. So we need to somehow inform the user. Any tips? 2) All the services are AGOL hosted, cache set to longest period (1hr) since the datasets are static. I have one more thing. When user starts generating filtered output for some huge dataset, the UX does not seems to me sufficient. The user only sees the rotating circle but not exact progress. If the user would se exact progress and the information that sth is really happening, then it doesn't matter it takes long. Even several minutes are ok when the user sees the progess. I found this information in the article below: "Each supported file format now includes the options to proceed with currently available data or to request the newest version of the file. Generating large, updated files may take some time, so visitors can track the status of their download by watching its progression on the sidebar." Where exactly can I track the status of generating the output as it is mentioned? Or it is meant as actual download progress which is default browser feature? https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-hub/sharing-collaboration/how-arcgis-hub-makes-it-simple-to-share-engaging-content/ Thanks, Jan

Hi folks, I am dealing with some performance issues while downloading huge data from ArcGIS Hub which are filtered. Notes: - data are loaded to ArcGIS online in local coordinate system so this option is turned on in Hub configuration - anyway the data are presented over web mercator basemaps - data are huge -> 600k+ rows of complex polygons (data can't be touched with generalization ...) Are there any best practices how to deal with these datasets so the downloading and generating output is bareable? Maybe @Anonymous User could suggest some steps? Thanks, Jan

Hi @LefterisKoumis , thanks for your reply, however there is documented way how to deploy custom widgets to Portal: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-web-appbuilder-questions/overwriting-of-init-js-files-in-portal-for-arcgis/m-p/1095304#M21314 There is also docuemnted way how to use 3rd party libs (edit init.js file): https://developers.arcgis.com/web-appbuilder/sample-code/add-a-third-party-library.htm But obviously we can't compose these two approaches to deploy custom widget with 3rd party library on Portal for ArcGIS. Dears, we developed some custom widgets for WebApp Builder where we used 3rd party libs so we had to change the init.js file to load these libs. Then we deployed our custom widgets to the customer's Portal so we had to modified the init.js file within the Portal installation accordingly. Now the customer has problem that after every restart of Portal for ArcGIS service the init.js file restore to its default form without our modifications. Of course, the widgets then stop working since they lack 3rd party libs from init.js. My questions are: Why is this happening? Can I somehow prevent Portal to overwriting init.js? It includes these init.js at these locations: <Portal installation folder>\Portal\apps\webappviewer\init.js <Portal installation folder>\Portal\apps\webappbuilder\stemapp\init.js Appreciate any help, Jan

Dear community, I would like to ask you If there is any possibility to hide some FC attributes for filtering in ArcGIS Hub. Scenario: I have a FC I would like to share with public. This FC has 30+ attributes. For filtering only 3 make sense. How could I hide the rest of them while preserving all attributes when the data is downloaded? Thank you for your help. Jan
