Magnificent question, I am betting in many instances no. I have some docs we use to guide annual upgrades etc; but to actually document a top-down rebuild no, we have ample diagrams of architecture and structure but the road-map to actual rebuild from clean VMs has just not been prioritized time wise.

Thanks for that clarification; I had seen in my firewalls the polling at the portal-server level but never thought to look for polling at the WA level also.

Yes, when you configure your web-adaptor it references which are the machines in the Cluster and knows which is the active-node; so when the active-node fails it's health check from the passive-node it takes over and the Web-Adaptor gets it's response from that node. There is some lag and potential down-time between the roll-over; but based on the configuration it is not horrible.

I like @jblairpdx idea of using status-codes, where we can mark it as deprecated and set a "new" url/endpoint so that a redirect will be possible if a flag is set.

Once customers reach a certain scale of Enterprise licensing; ArcGIS Monitor should be included to ensure the stability of the platform. As ESRI can and does use the information that is generated from the system when doing various collaborations with customers under EA engagements. It would be a fantastic way to ensure the visibility of ESRI ensuring their Enterprise customers are best looked out for and supported.

I have a workflow that I triggered that once it got to my ArcGIS Pro step and I try executing the step in Pro it just keeps flashing back to the play/start button. When I go into the Portal/App and view the job it shows it is running with no way to stop it or kill the job. What options do I have?
