Sorry saw I said scene layers in my previous post. Any supported layers in the scene viewer can be grouped together not just scene layer. In the map viewer however there is no option to put layers in groups. **Updated my previous post to say Scene Viewer.

there currently isn't a way in the map viewer to group layers together like the Scene Viewer. The only way to leverage group layers in the map viewer today would be to use a dynamic map service with group layers that were authored in ArcMap or Pro and then published to an ArcGIS Server. Russ

Just to add to my previous answer. The 10.3.6 version of Collector for ArcGIS on Windows has been made available and you can checkout the latest workflow for adding tpks in the app here: Go offline—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Cheers Russ

There shouldn't be any issues with the setup you are talking about. The only thing that you might want to think about is the security aspect for that setup. The layers within the service will all have the same sharing access, so if you wanted to restrict one of the layers from a certain group you would be unable to do this. If each of the layers was its own service you can have finer grain control on this. This setup should not impact the downloading of basemaps. Russ

The issue is with the m values being enabled on the feature class when the feature class was created. The feature service then gets the property m values: true. You can see this at the REST endpoint of the feature service: HasM: true. The map viewer prevents the editing of geometries when the m values have been enabled b/c they do not support editing m values and the feature would lose the values on features if you edited there geometry in the map viewer.

You currently cannot do this today. There are plans for a pre-planned workflow where you can define the work areas before hand and the field users can download those packages instead but that will be coming in a future release and I do not have a release date for you right now but can update the thread when I have one.

That was me checking out your map and services. Just looking into your services and I see that m values are set to true. I think this is the reason why the geometry editing is being blocked. Probably b/c editing the geometry would cause m values to be lost for that feature but I am just waiting to confirm this with a colleague right now.

The Collector app currently only shows editable fields in the editing popup. If a field is disabled for editing in the popup it will only show up in the popup displayed when viewing features.

That content will only be shared with the Collector team. The collector account will get a notification that there has been a group invite and they can check out the map and the feature layers causing the sync issue. Russ

Can you check the services list of replicas made to see if that replica ID exists on the service? You can see the list of replicas under the feature service URL after you end the Feature Server URL with /replicas

When you click edit on the feature in the popup, click and grab the feature with your mouse and then you can drag the point feature to that new location.

So if your feature service says editing disabled on the feature service item detail page. Click Edit and at the bottom of the page you can choose to enable editing. Then Click Save and your service will now be editable. Reopen the map after you do this and re-save it. This will make the map ready for Collector and on iOS you can pull to refresh to grab your new maps and on Android the option you be presented in the drop down menu to refresh your gallery.

Your map must contain a feature service that is editable. So if you are are uploading a shapefile to ArcGIS Online you must check the box that will publish it as a feature service and add the feature service to the map with editing enabled. If you add a hosted feature service through "Add Item with Full Editing Control" this only enables editing on the service for that session you are using the web map, it will not propagate out to other users of the map or into the Collector app. Also when you share a map for other members of your org to use, it must be shared to a group that these other members are a part of. Cheers Russ
