You can create a feature search in a web and the apps can use that same search to locate a feature. There is no interactive filter in the apps yet. You can then route to that feature if you are connected. Configure feature search—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS You can also use navigator then to get to your feature. With explorer online retired you will have to manually write the JSON into the web map using the ago-assistant. The Green app is not undergoing any active development and will not support the new layer queries you can now create in ArcGIS Online. Collector and Explorer support those feature searches today. Heres a blog talking about some of the other solutions you can use outside of the green app. Moving Beyond the ArcGIS App for Smartphones and Tablets | ArcGIS Blog

You need the editable features to make the map visible to Collector. An office map must consist of layers that have the capability to sync or export tiles.

Only the webmap will show up in Collector app. The Collector app might not be able to access the service if your server is not exposed to the network the device is on.

When you publish a tiled image service you will publish the raster data from catalog Publishing image services—Documentation (10.3 and 10.3.1) | ArcGIS for Server Then you set up the image service in the service editor wizard you setup the caching you want to use. Note if you are using a non web merc projected coordinate system you will need to have your own tiling scheme for the caching.

so the reason why it gets blocked is because the map service when added at the individual level MapServer/0 creates a feature layer. With a raster type map service this will create a feature layer with a null geometry and fail to add. When you add the service at just MapServer it creates a map image layer and that is supported with the raster type layers in a map service and why it works in the map and scene viewers. If you want each individual layer into a scene you can create tiled image services and bring those into the scene viewer or publish up each layer in the map service individually. Hope this helps Russ

Is it possible for you to share your service and/or your web scene and I can check out the issue? If you need to you can invite russell_jsapi into a group with the web scene and feature layer you are seeing the issue with. Thanks! Russ

When you publish the scene layer from Pro do you have the elevation you are using in your web scene added to Pro? When you have your multipatches added to your scene in Pro you will have to have them on the ground (through the layer properties). Then you run the Layer 3D to Feature Class. This will add the final multipatch to your scene with the buildings on the terrain. Then when you publish your scene it will create a web scene referencing the same elevation service and the scene layer will display on the ground. This tutorial is helpful in showing the steps to creating a scene layer thats placed on the ground correctly. Author and share a local scene to Portal for ArcGIS—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS for Desktop

You can also change the resolution of the photos in Collector. On iOS its under the app settings to pick the default resolution from Small to Extra Large. On Android the camera app used will let you pick the resolution of the photos taken.

The one thing that this will still exposes is the feature service with editing capabilities enabled. The web map is the only thing hiding the editing tools with editing disabled at the map level. Someone could still take the feature service and bring it into a new map and start editing features.

Hey Adrian If you want named users in your org to edit this feature service you will have to create a group with update item capabilities. Share items—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Then your users can go to the feature layer item and on the drop down menu to open the item choose: Open > Add layer to new map with full editing control This will bring the feature layer into an editable state for just that user and not anyone else that will be that feature layer in the public map. Hope this helps Russ
