Aaaah I see, here's some screen caps, albeit, I'm not sure what the cloudStores/arcgis-cloudstore Cache is or where it came from? I don't recall seeing that before?

Hey @JonathanQuinn, thanks for the reply. I'm using the same paths that I used during the webgisdr backup: SHARED_LOCATION=\\\\<FQDN>\\backups\\temp BACKUP_LOCATION=\\\\<FQDN>\\backups\\final Seeing how I'm now running the webgisdr tool 'from' the machine where these locations are, maybe I should just try using the the drive letter? BACKUP_LOCATION=D:\\backups\\final

Hello, We are attempting to use the WebGIS DR tool to backup our current deployment and restore to a new machine. Current environment: 2 servers at 10.8.1, both running Windows Server 2016: 1 primary hosting server running Portal, Server and webadaptors 1 image server The WebGIS DR backup process seemed to work fine after we addressed some storage issues. We are now attempting to restore to a new 'primary hosting server' (leaving the image server the same) and the process errors out with the following message: Failed to restore the ArcGIS Server: Url: https://maps.srk.com/image. {"code":500,"messages":["Import site failed with the following error. Import operation does not support creating a restore point on Linux and importing it on Windows."],"status":"error"} The error itself seems nonsensical as the backup came from Windows OS and is being restored to a Windows OS Has anyone seen a similar error before?

Thanks @Sander that got me onto the correct path... So it turns out there already WAS a folder in the logs folder with the shortname. Once I renamed this and rebooted with the shortname in the hosts file, it created a new folder, and the machine name and Admin URL is now updated to the correct name. This seems to have resolved it and I'm running the backup now. We'll see if it is successful, but it seems to be progressing along nicely.

Sorry @DanMcCoy1 , I should have been more explicit in my responses. Yes, I made the change to the /Windows/system32/drivers/etc/host file, and I've been re-booting the server in between these changes. When the machine comes back up, I check the Portal machine properties and the Admin URL still contains the /portaladmin Just to confirm, since this is an Azure VM, should the 'local ip address' referenced in the instructions be the: private ip public ip locahost address (127.0.0.1)

Thanks so much @EricAnderson_DHS for the quick response! We have the Home Application & Enterprise Sites 3 patches installed, and unfortunately, jut editing the sys32 host file isn't working for our implementation. I'm wondering if I need to go the hostname.properties route?

I'm having the same issue right now and want to clarify something. I don't have a hostname.properties and from what I can find this file simply looks like: hostname=<some host name> My Admin URL in the Portal Machine Properties is: https://<FQDN>:7443/arcgis/portaladmin So when I create this hostname.properties file with the 'shortname', is the shortname: hostname=<FQDN>/arcgis?

Looking for suggestions on editing a CAD converted dataset we've received. All of the polygons that contain holes in them (donut), the holes are connected with a line to the exterior polygon something like the image below. In other words, these are a single part, and not a multipart polygon. Is there a workflow/tool to easily update or fix these so they are a true multipart polygons? I do understand that the following would work: create new interior holes by re-tracing these holes then deleting the vertices for these holes and finally re-clip using the newly traced holes. But that's not a very appealing thought for editing 1000's of these bad polygons. Thanks for any tips/suggestions

Is there a way to customize the email content for the Share Widget? We'd like to implement this to only the email option, but would like to customize the actual email content. Thanks,

Hey Robert, I know this is an old post, but I'm currently seeing this 'Request canceled' error on the AT widget with a web appbuilder app in our Portal (10.8.1). Do you have any idea what triggers this, or how this request gets 'canceled'? If I do a CTRL+F5 refresh on the app, and not touch anything in the browser (zooming, panel, clicking, etc) this error appears and I'm not sure why?

Hi @jill_es, I'm trying to update cache locations of some hosted services and just came across this post, and I have a couple questions: I've been able to stop the hosted service from ArcCatalog, but is there no way to do this from Pro? Once I've stopped the hosted service, I can go into the service from Server Manager and make the change to the directory I want, but the Save button is greyed out so I cannot save this change? Thanks for any info you can provide. Warren

Thanks so much for the info William. The execution and install of the azure-storage-blob==2.1.0 didn't resolve the issue, but it did present a different error this time: Cannot import name 'BlobServiceClient' I decided to try to 'upgrade' the module with: install azure-storage-blob --upgrade. Once that completed I fired up Pro and was able to successfully create an Azure Profile with the OptimizeRaster toolbox so it seems to be functioning. As a side note, the test code that all the posts above were trying to execute from Pro: from azure.storage.blob import BlockServiceClient Still fails...
