I want to create a symbology depending on two field on the flow.. E.g. if you have five different layers with 20 different symbols, the editor widget is overloaded with 100 symbols. So my idea was to show only a standard symbol and by changing the attributes, the symbol should change. Is it possible to publish a field calculation with ArcGIS Pro to a Portal feature service?

Hi, I have created an Arcade expression in ArcGIS Pro 2.3 to build the value for symbolization from to field. I took the Arcade expression for unique symbol values: Concatenate([field1,field2]) I gave both fields field1 and field2 standard values and for each a domain in the field settings. Null is not allowed. Every created symbol value gets a own symbol. If I publish this layer as web layer the following problems occur: I can change the values of field1 and field2 and as result the symbol changes in the edit mode. The symbol in the edit widget in AGOL / Portal (10.7) in the Map Viewer or Edit Widget at WAB doesn't show a given symbol. It shows only a small black dot. I also tried to give a special symbol for all other values. This has the same effect. How can I change that behavior? Can I change the symbol at the edit widget with python api like Earl Medina showed? Thanks for your help, Karsten

Hi Andrew, if you use print(arcgis.__path__) you get the path of the active Python environment used by Jupyter Notebook. You can activate the version in the python package manager under manage environments. Greetings Karsten

Hi, I'm developing a widget that checks a webhook payload if the map has been updated. https://community.esri.com/thread/236190-re-popup-alert-when-webmap-has-a-new-save-date If the payload timestamp is newer then the widget timestamp created at startup a popup window appears.
