Neil Thanks. I completely overlooked that. I haven't tried to replicate to enterprise yet, but i got to believe that was my issue as well. The water junction had a globalid and it replicated fine. the sewer did not. Thanks again for posting.

I was wondering if anybody has run into the issue of the "my location" widget becoming grayed out when using an app built by web app builder on an android tablet. I checked on my iPad and it works fine. So I don't think it is the application itself. I have gone in to the settings and made sure location settings was all good and all the usual trouble shooting stuff. It was working, and it became grayed a couple of days ago so not sure what happen. Just seeing if anybody ran into this before

Joe yes. I have all that. I have made several replications before. The weird thing is that we have a network built for our water dataset and that replicates fine. I have also replicated our sewer dataset with no problems as well. I had to delete our old sewer network and rebuild it and now since the rebuild I am having the issue. I have a few trouble shooting ideas yet to try. I was just wondering if anybody else ran into this before. My guess is that the issue is in the network itself although like I said everything seems to be behaving normally other then it not replicating with the feature classes. Thanks for your response.

We are running 10.3.1 I created a new geometric network, which was created successfully and when I add the network to Arcmap all the feature classes that I included in the network get added like they should. However, when I try to create a replication with the "full" option checked, the network is not being replicated only the feature classes. Not sure why. The network is recognized by catalog and Arcmap even when I edit the feature classes they all move as they should when part of a geometric network. It's just the replication process thats acting like it's not there. Anybody else experience this? Ideas? Suggestions?

We are running 10.3.1 I have about 17,779 sewer laterals that are not currently part of our sewer geometric network. But I need to add them to it. Is it better to use the Geometric Network Incremental Loader tool in ArcMap or just delete the network all together and recreate it and include my laterals. As a side note I have several replications built from our default which is the one with the geometric that I want to add the laterals to. If I delete the geometric network in the default (the parent) of all the replicas do I need to rebuild the replicas with the new geometric network? or if I use the Geometric Network Incremental Loader, do I still need to rebuild the replicas? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Very good Neil. Thanks for the clarification. I was always under the impression that datasets, layers, and data frame had to be web mercator. Not just the data frame. I appreciate you expounding on this matter.

I am trying to publish my own basemap service. I set my data frame to web mercator have my streets layers in web mercator and changed our aerials projection to web mercator in ArcCatalog by: Right clicking on aerial then in properties changed from ohio state plane north to web mercator. added all layers to my ArcMap 10.3.1 and they don't line up with each other, Do I need to reproject the aerials a different way?

we are at 10.3.1 I have a few replications of our default sde. For some reason one of my sde replications when I go to either import domain changes or create a new domain, and or field, It is changing the field type value from float to double. And also when I set it to float it won't give me the option to set a domain for that particular field. The option isn't even present in field properties. This is causing me not to be able to import schema changes from my default to my replication because it gives me the error message "The existing domain field type does not match that of the updated domain" This is only happening in one of my replications. The other one is maintaining the correct values from when I went through the replication process. I tested it out by creating a brand new replication between my default sde and a new test sde gdb and it is doing the same thing, changing my float value to a double, and again giving me an error when I try import schema changes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ** Just as a side note, I tried deleting the domains from the troubled sde replication gdb and then reimport the domains and field values from default thru the "Import schema changes" tool and it still wants to change those values.**

But when I attempt to do that, I get the following error.. "Connection was attempted with an older version of SQL Server client communications software that is not supported." Adrian Thanks for the reply. I understand that the story maps pull from a web map. The service that shows that it is inaccessible is the map service in the web map that my story map references. But the url to that particular service is //web server name/arcgis/rest/services/folder name/service name/MapServer The layer shows up fine when viewing it regular. I guess I am just wondering why it is inaccessible when I go to "My Story" web page. This is the mesaage it gives me. " We found some issues Inaccessible map content Tip: Open your web map and remove the broken content, or remove the web map from your story. I don't want to remove it. I get this message for all the services that reference our dmz web server
