Has anyone else had the issue where now it will not let you delete the vtpk package once it is published? I used to be able to but now it says I can not since there is a dependent layer. Even the help says you can "however once published you can delete the tile package item to further minimize credit consumption." Seems like a bug?

Have you tried the ArcRest method I posted? If so when you look at the result out it will tell you the error it is getting. Also make sure Sync is enabled on the HFS.

When I try to add a destination in the app it goes to a numbers only keyboard with no way to add a decimal point and no way to add a space. I can also not type on a - or type anything but 2 to 3 numbers total. So it is impossible to add an actual GPS point. Is this some type of bug or something?? I am using a Samsung S2. Also on this page you say Second, it requires you to be outside and moving so your device can fix your location and determine your direction of travel. But on the disclaimer page on the app it says you must be at a complete stop. Which is it?

I found the issue. If it is in default there are no " " around it but if it is a calculation then you need " ". I can get this code to work when it is not in the calculation of the field itself if(${GPS}= '','45.637665 -122.671670','46.616385 -124.491775') but when i put this if statement in the calculation for the GPS field it does not like that. Cyclical reference which makes sense. I guess I will let it default to 0 0 if that is working now. I will report back if it keeps getting set to null. Thanks a lot

I can get a default value in the geopoint using the calculation field. For example "45.637665 -122.671670" But then it always goes to that point and ignores the GPS. Can I so something where the GPS is used if it has it but if null it uses a default point? I have tried if(${GPS}= '0 0',"45.637665 -122.671670",${GPS}) if(${GPS}= '',"45.637665 -122.671670",${GPS}) with no luck. Any hints? Thanks I am using 1.8.27.

I am having an issue where if someone does not allow the Survey123 app to see location the geopoint is blank. This means it can not show on any map going forward. So I can never "see" it anywhere. It also means it is not visible to Data Drive Pages for some reason and ArcMap complains that shape can not be null. I know of no way to edit the point location since I can never see it. Also when I try to edit it in ArcMap Create local copy will never check it out. Is there a way to set a default location so at least this will not happen again? How is everyone dealing with this issue? I did find in testing that if location is turned off the map is blank. When you open it you must hit Home then move the map. This is confusing users. Thanks

I build a lot of these. I have found that the Create Map Tile Package is the only one that works fully. Its slow but works pretty much every time. Make sure to use Mixed. I have 5 open bugs with Esri on this but they have been open over a year with not fix so far. Is there a way to do a If then Else? For example if they pick A then a different field gets a 1, if they pick B the field gets 2, if they pick C the field gets a 3. I tried nesting If statements but it will not take it. Maybe you can link pick lists? Thanks

I asked about this many months ago too. The issue I see with your method is what if you are offline? The value reload would have to be done on a form refresh or something while you were connected to the net.

What is really tricky for us is when the multiple answer choices all have spaces in them. Survey123 requires you to not have spaces and then uses domains to flip. But this does not work with multiple answer questions. So now we have a big blob of text with no spaces and separated by commas. Post processing is the only idea we have had so far also.
