Can you run the model and then go to Geoprocessing -> Results and see if there was any error in your model? You could also export your model and run it in python and see what error pops up there.

Samuel, Add a Lat and Long field to your feature (data type double). Right click the heading of your field and click "Calculate Geometry...". Property choose X or Y Coordinate of your point (depending if you calculate your Lat or your Long field) and as "Units:" choose "Decimal Degrees". This will calculate it for all your features. Hope this helps!

No problem! Don't forget to mark the answer, so people with the same problem see what needs to be done.

Randy, this field only considers fields of the data type "Short". You would have to create a "Short" data type field. And then have for example Interstate is a "1", a highway is "2" , major road is "3"....

Maybe this will help explain the field? http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#//00700000000w000000 I assume something needs to be in there to prevent the tool from merging roads that run parallel to each other but are different types of roads. For example if a road runs along an interstate. you wouldn't want those roads to be merged.

Do you have an organizational account or a basic free account? I think you need an Organizational account for that.

I would use the merge tool, since it seems you added a new field to your dataset? If both features have the exact same fields, you can use the append tool. With this you don't create a new feature set, because it will just add on the new data to the data you are editing.

Mike, the erase option is still viable, since it will only remove your old data in the file you just downloaded from the surveying equipment. The data you continuously edit will stay untouched. The tool uses the data you are editing as a cutting tool, to cut it away from your just downloaded data. Once it is cut away you will only merge the newest manhole points. Hope this clarifies it!

The only way I can see you getting labels into ArcGIS Online is if you have an Organizational Account and upload a titled mapping feature service. Other than that I think you are out of luck. You can test this with a free developer account.

If you don't reshape or move your old data you can also do the following: 1) Have your new and old data in your MXD. 2) Open your Arc Toolbox Analysis Tools -> Overlay -> Erase 3) As Input feature choose your NEW DATA and as Erase data choose your OLD DATA 4) You will use the output data to merge with your Old data Again you can only use this if you don't reshape or move your data in your OLD DATA layer.
