Are you using the trace tool on your edit bar? If not, try using that. Just select the polygon you would like to trace and then start digitizing your new polygon.

You could use the Buffer tool with your road feature, just set the buffer distance to 2.5 meters. This would give you a 5 meter width around your streets.

Did you do this in an edit session? If so, did you save your edits? If you did that, then it is permanent, this is the same if you calculated data out of edit.

Don't forget you can always sign up for a 30 day trial and see if you can convince your IT department. Or you can create a permanent developer account, which gives you the same functions as the 30 day trial. Wish I could be more helpful!

With groups you can still invite your colleagues and you can share maps you made. With this you can quickly find maps of each other, with the caveat, everyone can see your maps. If they would have gotten rid of groups, you wouldn't see if one of your colleagues has a new map available, or you would have to look for links of older maps that one of your colleagues shared. So groups still serve a function, but if you want privacy, you need to pay.

Carson, sorry for the late reply! Yes if you have an Arc Server that can be accessed through the web, that's how you would add data to your map. I am not sure about querying the data, but the public would see your data. You could also give the public the link to your data and they could add it to any map they like. As you said the steps are, publish your data -> use add service button and your done. Hope this clears things!

Arnold, Groups are still useful if you have a paid subscription. Once ESRI shifted to promote their organizational account, they changed how groups work for free accounts. Within your organization you can create "private" groups and can make them visible for certain members of your organization, just like before. Hope this somewhat answers your question!

Which basemap and region are you looking at when that happens? Since the basemap is created cached, sometimes there is no cache available if zoomed in too far.

Sarah, you can't calculate fields that have been joined to data. You would need to do the calculate before you join it to data. Maybe that is your problem? Remove the join and then you should be able to calculate.

Does this feature "Geocoding_Result_Model_XYT " already exist when you run your model or do you delete it each time before you run the model? If you don't, try and delete all features that will be created through your model and then run it in python again to see if you get an error.
