Is there a What’s New doc for the Explorer for ArcGIS version 19.1.0 that was released yesterday for iOS? According to the info provided in the app store, one of the new features of the 19.1.0 release is “Improved Explorer Links.” Could someone describe and provide an example of what is provided with this feature?

Hendrick, Need more details. What client are you publishing from? ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro? Are you publishing from the ArcGIS Server machine or another client? What are you publishing? A map service, a feature service, or a hosted feature service?

Shana, Yes, I see the "triple hamburger" where one needs to select the Custom Query option. My custom query is to select all records that were matched to our "IRC_Streets" street centerline locator, our secondary locator, instead of matching to our primary locator to our Address Points. I want to review these records to determine why the input addresses are not matching to an Address Point. My Rematch Addresses screen goes blank after applying this custom query as shown in the screen snapshot below. It appears that the rematch functionality and behavior that currently exists in ArcMap 10.x does not appear to have yet been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.3. With the ArcMap Rematch dialog, one has the ability to create many named queries for subsequent repeated reuse and these "named" user define queries also has not been implemented in the Rematch process in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.3.

Product: ArcGIS Pro 2.3.3 I have geocoded a table using a Custom Composite Locator and now want to review a subset of matched records using the ArcGIS Pro Rematch Addresses process. As I have done for many years with ArcMap 10.x, with the ArcMap Interactive Rematch Dialog box, I want to define a subset of records to review with a query and then review, work thru, and rematch this user defined subset of records. On the ArcGIS Pro Rematch Addresses pane, however, when I apply a Custom Query the subset of records do get properly selected in the Attribute Table but the Rematch Address pane then becomes blank. In ArcGIS Pro, in the Rematch Addresses pane, how does one define a Custom Query and then review and rematch this subset of records just like I currently do with ArcMap ?

When publishing a simple polygon layer to an ArcGIS Enterprise Portal as a Hosted Feature Service (version 10.6.1), the publishing operation failed with the error The submitted field 'st_length(shape)' does not exist in the table found in the ArcGIS Server log. Based on the information found here, Error with publish a feature service · Issue #44 · Esri/arcgis-cookbook · GitHub , I found that default Display Expression in my ArcMap Layer was set to the Shape_Length field. I changed the default display expression to a text field and then the layer published to ArcGIS Enterprise without any error.

With the original software installation of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 without any patches or updates, the patch "Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 Pop-up Selected Feature Display Patch' fixed the drawing issue I was seeing with the Portal Map Viewer and the Portal Web App Builder applications. If using AE 10.6.1, one will need to install all 20 or so patches and updates that have been released so far for 10.6.1.

With Firefox Developer mode, I turned on the Console window and saw that I was getting a lot of the following messages: "Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at <URL for hosted feature service > (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing)". This "Accessing data failed" message turned out to be a CORS issue.

Yes, I believe I am having the same issue. See my question from 2/16/2019 titled "Can one share a Hosted Feature Service from ArcGIS Enterprise to ArcGIS Online via Collaboration?" https://community.esri.com/message/832229-can-one-share-a-hosted-feature-service-from-arcgis-enterprise-to-arcgis-online-via-collaboration Were you able to resolve this issue?

I have ArcGIS Enterprise installed at my location with version 10.6.1 and all 20 patches and updates installed. Using ArcMap 10.6.1, I have published a small point layer as a Hosted Feature Service (HFS) on my ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. I want to make this HFS available to my ArcGIS Online site via the new ArcGIS Enterprise to ArcGIS Online Collaboration methods. The HFS displays just fine in my Portal. To share the HFS to ArcGIS Online, under Content, I select the Item and the Item's Service Definition, select Share > "Access and Update Capabilities", and then select the Group that is associated with my Collaboration Workspace. After this step, an item for the HFS is created successfully in my ArcGIS Online. However, when I try to view the HFS in ArcGIS Online in the Map Viewer, the map zooms to the proper map extents of the layer but the layer will not draw and I receive the message "The layer <layer name> did not draw completely". When I try and open the Attribute Table, I receive the error "Error: Accessing data failed". Can one share a Hosted Feature Service from ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 to ArcGIS Online via Collaboration? If yes, then how? I have successfully shared Map Services and Tiled Basemap Map Service from AE to ArcGIS Online via Collaboration and the map services are working just fine in ArcGIS Online so I believe my installation and configuration of my ArcGIS Enterprise machine is correct. Can someone else try and share a simple point layer as a Hosted Feature Service from their 10.6.1 ArcGIS Enterprise to ArcGIS Online and let me know if you are able to view and work with the HFS in ArcGIS Online?

For the past ten years, we have published Address Locators to an internal ArcGIS Server for use by our ArcMap and ArcReader users. We typically publish the locators with Geocoding options of Spelling Sensitivity, Minimum Candidate Score, and Minimum match score with a values of 85 to provide a maximum number of candidates returned for single address searches. For batch geocoding, however, where we are needing addresses to match to an exact address point and to fail if no exact address is found, we increase these three Geocoding options to a value of 96. If an exact match or near result is not found, I want the match result to fail. Also, with batch geocoding, we typically make numerous rounds or iterations of geocoding on a set of input addresses varying these geocoding option values depending on the nature of the problem with the input address. Changing the Geocoding Options is not a "nice to have" feature but a major feature of the Gecoding tools that we have been using with ArcMap from the inception of the ArcMap product. Standalone ArcGIS Servers are now being replaced with either ArcGIS Enterprise implementations and on-premises Portals and also being replaced by the Portals provided by ArcGIS Online. In ArcGIS Pro, we need to have the same capability in the ArcGIS Pro product that has existed from the beginning in the ArcMap product. We need to have the ability to access and modify the Locator properties for portal locators that have either been published to ArcGIS Enterprise or to ArcGIS Online.

I also encountered this issue today. Using the ArcMap Data > Export Data tool, I am also unable to export any feature classes or tables from our Enterprise SQL Server Geodatabase without selecting any records first. This new behavior with 10.6.1 breaks functionality that has been around since version 8.x . I am able to export data from File Geodatabases without selecting any records first.

I am currently ArcGIS Pro version 2.2.4. The Create Project Template command with the "Save template to file" option should create a Project Template that just contains the references to ALL data sources that were found in the original source project. This "Save template to file" option should NOT be copying ANY data to the project template. I had an ArcGIS Pro map that references a Lidar LAS dataset. When I when to run the Create Project Template command, the command started copying all 42 Gigabytes of LAS data files from a shared network drive to the C drive of my local machine. Sorry, but the copying of data referenced in an ArcGIS Pro project is just unhelpful and thoughtless operational behavior. I could not cancel the Create Project Template command and could not find the background gp process in the Windows Task Manager to cancel or kill the background job. To stop the copying of 42 Gigabytes of Lidar LAS files I had to reboot my machine.
