Matthew, I had a similar issue with invalid address suggestions returned by the Web App Builder Search Widget when used with a custom Geocoding Service that used Address Points as one of its match sources. Having a "Suggest" option that returns addresses that do not exist in the underlying match source is just not helpful. So, I do not use the "Suggest" option with my Geocoding services. I submitted Case# #01810750 "Web App Builder Search Widget provides suggestions that do not exist the source data" on 7/30/2016. The enhancement "#ENH-000098678 [Enhancement] Add options in the Create address Locator tool to include parameters to alter the index (xml) allowing full address strings, custom names, or other information to be provided rather than the default index" was submitted based on this case. The above enhancement includes the following related bug: Related bug : BUG-000094346 - The 'suggest' operation of the REST application programming interface (API) returns a suggestion for invalid street addresses that do not exist.

I have also encountered poor draw performance with certain feature classes that were loaded into SQL Server using the Microsoft GEOMETRY format. This poor performance was most evident with our Parcel polygon feature class where a large CPU spike of 50% to 60% would occur on the server with one simple pan of the feature class in ArcMap. This poor performance was first encountered with a SQL Server Geodatabase upgraded to 10.3 with SQL Server 2008 R2 and was not improved after upgrading to SQL Server 2012. After much effort, I was able to get a bug created for this issue. BUG-000086937 : Panning/Zooming in ArcMap creates larger spike in CPU usage for Sql Server Geometry data compared to SDEBINARY. The reference Esri Case# for this bug is "Esri Case #01618154 - SDEBINARY vs. SQL Server Geometry performance concerns". Another issue for me with the 10.3 release is that Spatial Views cannot be created with the ArcCatalog "Create New View" command if the Storage format is SDEBINARY. The case number for this issue is the following: Esri Case #01610572 - Spatial view creation not available in 10.3? Because of the poor and unusable draw performance with ArcGIS 10.3 and the SQL Server GEOMETRY format and the Spatial View creation issue, my work around for this issue for the forseeable future is just to keep our SQL Server Geodatabase at version 10.2.

Jonathan, Yes, I have the ArcGIS Server Service running using a Windows Domain user account and also have the Windows Group containing that user account applied to the ArcGIS Server services folder containing the secured services. This method worked for printing of secured services from the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex apps with ArcGIS Server 10.2 but this method does not work with 10.3.1. Using the documentation reference provided above, Printing maps that contain secured services, I have published to ArcGIS Server a new Print service containing the Export Web Map tool. The next step is for me to create a long duration token using the ArcGIS Token Service with the URL of "http://name:6080/ArcGIS/tokens/generateToken , correct ? Then, how do I use that token? Do I pass that token in the URL of the <taskurl> attribute of the Flex Print widget? I am not seeing any examples in the Esri ArcGIS Server documentation or REST API documentation for passing the token in a REST URL.

Problem: I have a web application that was created using ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 3.7. From the Flex Print widget, I am unable to print a map containing secured map services. I receive the error "Unable to connect to map server". The ArcGIS Server Print task works without error if the map does not contain any secured map services. Server software: ArcGIS for Server 10.3.1 Client: ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 3.7 Web Server: IIS OS: Windows 2008 R2 Security Configuration: a) In ArcGIS Server Manager, I have both the User and Role Store configured using the "Windows Domain" option. Technical Note: Because not all of our Windows Domain Controllers in our Windows Domain have the GC or Global Catalog role, I have to manually configure a domain controller to use using the REST Admin. I can see all of my Windows users and Windows Groups in Manager. b) Web Adaptors: I have two web adaptors installed. One web adaptor for the public map services and a second web adaptor for the restricted, secured map services. The web adaptor for the restricted/secured map services is configured in IIS to use Windows Authentication. This issue is similar to the bug described in Knowledge Base Article # 41982 for ArcGIS Server versions 10.1 and 10.2. 41982 - Unable to print secured services with web-tier authentication Does anyone know of a work around for printing secured map services using Web Tier and Windows Authentication with Flex 3.7 and ArcGIS for Server 10.3.1 ?

Jianxia, There is nothing wrong with my ArcGIS Server 10.2 Geocoding Service. The issue is that the javascript code for this July 2015 version of the WAB Search Widget used to generate the list of candidates is not creating a selectable area for the entire width of the Search Widget drop down area. In anticipation of a 10.2 versus 10.3 geocoding service question, this past weekend, I created my locators using ArcGIS 10.3 software and republished the geocoding service and received the same behavior as described above. I then also tried publishing my 10.3 Composite Locator with suggestions and the WAB Search Widget would not work at all. My 10.2 geocoding service is fine. The problem is this with this new javascript code that was introduced with this July 2015 update of WAB and ArcGIS Online.

Jianxia, The issue is occurring with all the browsers that I use. These browsers and their versions are: IE 11, Chrome 43, and Firefox 39. I have been making sure that I clear the browser's cache before opening the web app. I don't know of any other way to clear the browser's cache than what I am doing. Here is a URL and link to our particular web app that was created previously with the Web App Builder: IRC Address Viewer Try this sample address with our Web App Builder web app: 1800 27TH ST

I just created a brand new Web App using Web App Builder (7/14/2015, 6:00 pm EST). I am getting the same behavior with the Search Widget where I am having to click to the right of the text for the candidates that are highlighted with the bold font.

Jianxia, I opened my Web App in Web App Builder in ArcGIS Online and then saved the app. I then opened a separate browser, Internet Explorer, and cleared the client browser cache. I then opened my Web App in IE. For the Search Widget results, I am still having to click on the area to the right of the text. With a Web App Builder app, how I can I tell what version of the JS API the app has downloaded to a client machine and is using? I have tried viewing the source on a page but I don't see the references to the Esri arcgis javascript api libraries in the pages like index.html.

Hello Jianxia, Viewing the source web map for our Web App Builder app in the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, when I enter the address "1800 27TH ST" and press the Enter key on the keyboard, a list of candidates is not returned. Instead the Search widget selects the best candidate and then zooms to that location on the map. With the Map Viewer, the best candidate is being selected and used by the Search Widget. In contrast, with the Web App, the list of candidates for an address is returned. But, after the July 2015 AGOL update, I can no longer select the first address from the returned list of candidates.
