Hi Colin, Are you familiar with the ability to use the "long press" method on the header and footer of the survey when desiring to pan to the top/bottom of a repeat or group? Refer to animation for example. This might help in navigating to the top and bottom of your nested repeats without having to scroll back up to the top each time a record is added. In terms of altering the placement of the repeat controls from the bottom to the top, we do not have a method to accomplish this. If you still feel it would benefit your workflow, please do raise it as an idea in ArcGIS Ideas site and/or raise it as an enhancement with Technical Support. Cheers, Brandon

Hi Ada, Have you explored the Sample survey named 'Grid Style Groups' available with Survey123 Connect? There are a few examples that include Groups and Pages. Let me know if this provides helpful info for you, or provide your XLSForm by uploading it to this thread. Thanks, Brandon

Ahh, yes. The width (w) parameter is intended to be used with theme-grid exclusively. In regards to the table-list appearance and borderColor parameter not working with theme-grid, I encourage you to raise these as Enhancements with Esri Technical Support and/or post the request for these features on the ArcGIS Ideas site. By doing this, it allows us to keep track of others who have similar requests and ultimately helps us prioritize potential Enhancements to address during time of assessment. Thank you for letting us know your experience with theme-grid, and we will make internal notes of your request in the meantime. Best Regards, Brandon

Hi Nathaniel, Are you familiar with the 'Modify Schema' dialogue when using the web designer? This is where you can see the actual database stored field names, as opposed to the labels for your survey questions. Can you confirm that there are no field name values over 32 characters in this dialogue? See here for more info regarding Modify Schema..Publish your survey—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation If there are no field names that contain more than 32 characters, I would like to take a look at the survey with you. Please let me know, and I can send you a message with my contact details in a private GeoNet message. Best Regards, Brandon

Hi Rob, Using theme-grid is the correct method to achieve placing multiple questions on the same row. Once it is applied in the settings sheet, it will display all contained questions in a grid. In your screenshot, it looks like you set the date question to occupy the full-width, however, it is not properly reflected. I am not able to replicate this behavior in my testing. Can you please upload your XLSForm to this thread so that I can take a look? As far as the ability to apply background color and other theme settings to your survey, take a look at the following... Esri custom columns—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation Keep in mind that there is a limitation when looking to apply backgroundColor to repeats in theme-grid. As for your last question, unfortunately it is not possible at the moment to use table-list when theme-grid has been applied. This is listed as a known limitation here...Appearance—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation Best Regards, Brandon

Hi Nathaniel, The error that you are encountering is likely being caused by a multiple choice question that contains a choice name that is over 32 characters. This behavior has been raised as a BUG via Technical Support as BUG-000125687: Attempting to publish or save a survey on the Survey.. Development has already identified the problem and we hope to have a fix in place shortly. We will send an update when this happens. In the meantime, please reduce your choice names to less than 32 characters. Best, Brandon

Hi Brita, Can you please provide more information regarding the crash that you are encountering when taking a photo with your Samsung Galaxy S9? 1. What version of the Survey123 Field App are you using? 2. What version of Android OS does the S9 have? 2.What was the image size in pixels applied in the 'Images' settings for the survey in S123 Connect? 3. Does this happen with all surveys when attempting to take pictures using the S9 or just one? 4. Can you provide a share link for opening in the field app for one of the surveys exhibiting the behavior? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Karim, Are you using ArcGIS Online or are you in an Enterprise environment? What happens when you generate a default template for the survey and attempt to use that for a report (default should contain photo with default syntax)? One suggestion would be to try to remove the spaces in between the vertical bar (i.e. ${photoofmissingperson|size:100:0} Best, Brandon

Hi Wade, If the survey was created using the Survey123 Web Designer at survey123.arcgis.com, then the ability to add 'file' question is available. This would allow a file (like a PDF) to be attached to the survey when filling out the survey using the web app. So, you must create the survey using the Web Designer and submit the survey using the web app (when including a 'file' type question) More information on question types here... Hi Jacob, If you are able to publicly share the 'Viewer' Settings for one of the surveys exhibiting the behavior and provide the share url here, we might be able to investigate further. Another option is to create a case with Technical Support who can assist after requesting additional information related to your XLSForm and publishing environment. Best, Brandon
