Thank you sharing your experience, Roger. It appears that that particular device has a screen resolution of 540 x 960, which may be a variable in the behavior. We recommend a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, as outlined here System requirements—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Having said that, I will make a note of the issue you are encountering in our internal backlog. I think there were some great suggestions by others, above, and even if left as is, the display of the description should significantly improve when viewed with the Galaxy Tab's which are much larger devices with 2048 x 1536 resolution. Hi LILIANA JURADO, After taking a look at your XLSForm and external CSV's, it appears that this issue is being caused by an empty column in your 'Caligeo' CSV. Please delete this column in the CSV, save, and republish the survey using Survey123 Connect. Let me know if this resolves the issue. Best, Brandon

Hi Chris, I can see the behavior with your specific XLSForm, where there is an empty select dropdown menu for your "Species" selection. I have tested with several other forms which include multiple select_one questions that reference values in the external_choices sheet, and have not had any issues. How did your test with the cascading selects go? While we continue to troubleshoot, one method that you can use for viewing the functioning selection for Species is to use a parameter to specify the web app version. Hi Jevaughn, You can add a note and add html in Survey123 Connect to serve as the Description. One way to see how this looks is to download a previously created survey using Survey123 Connect that was originally published from the web. As a precaution, I would do this with a test survey, as once you download a survey and republish with Survey123 Connect, you will no longer be able to use the Design mode for that survey in the web designer. Hi Leif, This issue is specific to the Juniper Mesa 2 and is a defect, as you suspected. Hi Jordan, When you say that you "added the folder", are you referring to theC:\Users\UserName\ArcGIS\My Surveys\Maps folder? What happens when you attempt step 3 listed in the following linked resource page? Prepare basemaps for offline use—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS n the Survey123 field app, select Menu > Settings > Map and browse to your ~\ArcGIS\My Surveys\Maps Map Library Folder. Any survey that has includeLibrary set to true (for additional details, see the last section in this topic) will now include any maps stored in this folder in the list of available maps.
