Have you tried this setting in Field Maps Designer? Not sure about adding related features, but keeps it from zooming 'back' to you when you press the '+' button. Suspect it would work for the related features as well. R_

Not where I can test, but I have overcome file locking issues like this before using *.bat files. I create a python script that similar to: import arcpy, os
modify = r"D:\path\to\batchfile\modify_aprx.bat"
open_aprx = r"D:\path\to\batchfile\open_aprx.bat"
aprx = r"D:\path\to\projectfile\filename.aprx"
os.system(modify )
os.system("start " + aprx) The modify_aprx.bat file will have something similar to: Run my Python script
call "%PROGRAMFILES%\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\Scripts\propy" "D:\path\to\script\modify_aprx.py"
@echo Finished Where modify_aprx.py is your python script that does the work. So, the python that is doing the work is running in the first system shell, and once it is done, it closes and deletes/removes all locks/links to the data. Then, it should be 'free' to open after the first cmd closes. R_

Did you try to re-add the 'updated' HFS to the map to see if the other layers are still there? AGOL doesn't seem to update 'layers' in a map if there were any schema ( and other not yet identified ) changes to the HFS unless removed from the map and re-added. R_

you can use arcpy.management.CopyFeatures to do this as long as you use the 2.7.x version that shipped with ArcMap. R_

Not sure with distributed collaboration, have not used that. I have some of my Enterprise hosted feature services that I update/modify through Field Maps from AGOL and could never get the AGOL username to populate in the Editor tracking fields, only the "saved credentials" users that I added the item to AGOL with. In this case, I have a calculated value in my Form that adds the logged in AGOL user to a new field. R_

In my case, somehow the share setting in Server Manager: were different than the share setting in the item itself: Once I changed it to match in Server Manager all was well. R_

I do not. At what point in the process are you getting the error message? What version of Pro? R_

Yes, unless the user that logged in has the appropriate permissions, when a different user logged in, it broke the process as it signs in 'automatically' with the last logged in user. We don't allow other users are not allowed to log in for this reason. R_

Try sharing that as a web layer from Pro to AGOL and see if that works for you. Going to a shapefile first will strip pretty much any extended capabilities from the data. R_

That function is built into the Table elements in ArcGIS Online dashboards without any code. Just select the Grouped values, set the field you want to group by as the Category field, choose "Sum" and the value/sort fields. R_

Have not used python for this, but have shared a style to AGOL with Pro. Once the style is in the Org, I opened map in map viewer, highlighted the layer, select "Styles": Click on the Symbol style, then the Basic point (or whatever comes up) arrow, then click on the + sign: This should let you add your new style to the web map, and can then be used for symbology. I will follow to see if you find a solution, as I have not. I ended up making a new FC (River_Labels) and either copied the center section to it, or just digitized a new generalized line where I wanted the labels to go. Seems whenever I got close with the label engine, it would scrunch them, not honor the downstream direction, etc. so I went this route. Fortunately, we don't get many "new" rivers around here, so I don't have to keep updating it 🙂 R_

I have an asbuilt field in each of my FC's and populate it with the document name of the As-Built drawing (PDF's of the drawings) the data came from. Some of them are stored in SharePoint, but most are in a folder, and my IIS has a virtual directory pointing to it. I then just encode the URL path in the popups and incorporate the asbuilt field as part of the path. https://server.data.com/documents/RecordDrawings/{asbuilt}.pdf This way, there is only one copy of the pdf's, and if any get updated, no need to edit anything in the FC table(s) as they still point to the same filename/path. At first I had the entire URL encoded in a field in the FC but found it easier to just update popup configs when we change/update servers rather than attributes for all my FC's. R_

It is working this way for me in 3.1.3 and 3.2.1 if I click on one of the FC's/Tables on the left immediately before I click on the up/down arrow button(s). Any other order of clicks doesn't seem to work. R_
