I have constant issues arising with ArcGIS Enterprise (mostly Server for ArcGIS). How about ESRI focus on resolving the numerous bugs in the software, rather than constantly pushing upgrades? Just like Microsoft was back in the early days.
I do agree that ArcGIS Enterprise is in need of some better QA/QC for both platform releases and patch releases, but Esri's release cadence is usually only two releases a year for ArcGIS Enterprise. The odd minor releases (11.3, 11.5, 12.1, etc.) are long term releases that are supported for a longer period of time if you do not want to upgrade more often.
The memory leak in ArcGIS Server we are having since going 11.5 to 12.1 has been epic. Crashing every 4 days if you don't restart the server. Support will blame everything under the sun, usage, the 'environment', and Windows before even thinking maybe it's possible there is something wrong with the software or upgrade.
Yes, Microsoft is exactly what an ESRI Rep. blamed when I brought up the issues in a live meeting.
