I have searched high and low. The only place I can find the text being appended is on the sign on the front of my building and company letterhead 🙂 I even created a new FGDB, with new polygon FC inside it and no data (so it is blank).  then open ArcMap and add, save as new file, and publish as new service. No metadata, no description, to credits, no properties, NOTHING.  yet, it still puts the company name at the bottom when I choose that service. R_ ... View more

I have searched high and low for the string that is being appended to the credits, and can't seem to locate it anywhere on my filesystem, or server.  The only place I can find the text that is being appended is that it is the title of my Flexviewer app.  However, if I change the title of my app, it does NOT change the text being appended to the credits. Still have no clue where it is getting our company name and appending it on there, but I like the utility of the attribution, just not the appending. Also, it is the text that show as the attributions if you do NOT have any credits in your service (IE, you always get something when attributionvisible="true", where does it get this?) Guess if I can't figure it out, back to the copyright widget, though I hate using widgets for something that is built into the API. R_ Also, where would one modify the font of the attributes to be similar to the copyright widget?  That one puts a white halo around black text, the autoatributes buts gray text with no halo, and it easily gets washed out when there is any imagery in the background. ... Thanks Robert, Though I had already tried that.  That will make the header itself taller/thiner, but my logo image is still huge and out of proportion.  Even played with the logoIcon size, but couldn't get it to maintain the proportions properly.  Seems that the old one would "fit" my image to the header, and this one doesn't. Anyway, I found a different approach, and that was to resize my logo image as close to the original logo.png as possible, and now it "fits" in there. R_ ... View more

I wondered about that so I disabled ALL of my widgets and still got the error. Your post got me thinking about it and I realized I didn't disable "all" of them, so I started disabling the UI elements widgets as well.  Turns out it comes from the HeaderControllerWidget somewhere as they go away if I don't load it. I agree also, but, so has pretty much everyone since the inception of ArcMap8.x. They haven't seemed to care about it enough to fix the issue, so, good luck. (Not to mention the "hidden" locks it puts on data that hasn't even been loaded in the map document for dozens of open/close events) ... View more

Richard, In the next release of ArcGIS we are looking at adding a geoprocessing tool that would give you the ability to use a key field to match a record in your table/feature class with a file stored on disk. For example if you had a feature class containing sign posts with a photoID of 'sign1234' and you had a photo on disk named 'sign1234.jpg' you could attach photos based on this type of relationship. Would these tools be useful with the way your data is currently stored? This would be a great option, if designed correctly.  As is, if I have a 20 square signs called s_sign with photos s1.jpg, s2.jpg, s3.jpg, etc.  Would be nice if it used the key/value pair in the lookup table to do the relate.  Instead, it takes the OID from the FIRST occurance of the feature (squaresign) and will attach every photo to the first occurance of s_sign, and all other s_sign features have none.  Seems like it completely defeats the anything to many relationship.  Seems that if, instead of converting the key value to the first OID that matches and using the actual key value column for the relate would actually give us what it claims.
