Using Survey123 Connect v 3.12.183 - I have a long-ish form that will have multiple repeat sections. Right now it only has one repeat to test the concept. When I initially activate the repeat section, I can populate the form until I get to the bottom where I click the advance arrow to open a new repeat but the form does not scroll back to the top of the repeat section. Is there a way to make this happen?

I have several questions of type decimal with a default value of "0" (zero). This displays properly on the form but when the user enters a value, sometimes the 0 (zero) is overwritten with the new value and sometimes the 0 remains - the result is 012 instead of 12. This does not affect calculations in the form but is inconsistent for the user. How do I set this so that it always overwrites the default 0 (zero)? As a follow up, setting the default value to 0 (zero) also does not work in calculations if the group is not opened. How can I write the calculation so that the default value of 0 is used even if the group is not opened?

This may not be the only way to accomplish your "challenge" but I handle this by creating a new question early in the form that asks what type of inspection is being completed - Level 1 or Level 2. When the user answers, it controls which groups are shown in the form. The initial question is named Level (in the name column). This is a required response. On the begin group lines, I add the following under the relevant column - selected(${Level}, 'Level1) - to activate the appropriate groups for Level1 survey. Hope this helps

Please people, 38 reviews and no suggestions? I have tried deleting and re-adding image questions - no joy - they still show the camera Icon and folder icon and clickable to capture image within Connect but not on tablet or phone after published. I can publish without image questions - every other question works as expected. I add one image question before the last group - works in Connect but not on tablet or phone

FIXED: I guess I just needed to type it out to track what I had tried. I inserted a new calculate type field named nextinspcalc between MONITOR and NEXTINSP and moved the long IF statement to the calculation column. In the NEXTINSP calculation column, I added the formula format-date(${nextdatecalc}, '%b %d, %Y'). The calculate type added on row 3 has been deleted since it was contributing nothing to the solution. Now works like it did before. I hope this helps someone else also

I am developing in Survey123 Connect version 3.10.239. My goal is to let a user know when the inspection of a structure is to be repeated. I start with a field ${currinspdate} that is by default now(). I give the user a choice of inspection frequency (i yr, 3 yr, 5 yr, and 10 yr) and I want the results to be in a traditional Mon dd, YYYY format. The results are currently a number. I have tried date(decimal-date-time(formatDate)+365) formula and get a number but cannot get this in Mon dd, YYYY format. I have tried breaking it down to just date(decimal-date-time(now()+365) but get the same numeric results. I created a calculate type field with the calculation format-date(${currinspdate}, '%b %d, %Y"), then trying the format date(decimal-date-time (${currinspdate} + 365). Error message "ReferenceError: formatDat" Suggestions? What is odd? This formula worked in an older RC version using the entire formula: if(${MONITOR}='1YR',date(decimal-date-time(now()+365),if(${MONITOR}='3YR',date(decimal-date-time(now())+1095),if(${MONITOR}='5YR',date(decimal-date-time(now())+1825),date(decimal-date-time(now())+3650)))) In the attachment look toward the bottom for the section monattr Next Inspection Schedule. Todays Date is captured at the very beginning currinspdate defaults to now()

I have connected to an existing feature service using version 3.10.239 and the new advanced XLSForms. All appears to be working as expected until I get to the Images questions. In Survey123 Connect, the image questions present the Camera Icon and a folder for adding images to the form and they work as expected. The same does not work for IOS or Android. The form works as expected in populating all other question types that I have tried. These populate the feature service and appear to update the database as expected. The image questions are blank - in the form on the tablet or phone, there is no icon or folder to create or select an image to add. Suggestions? What Have I forgotten?

With this method, is there any way to control the size of the image? I tried ${#$attachment | size: 540:0} and get an error. I tried ${$file | size: 540:0}}, I got an error. I see no way to indicate size on a separate line. Suggestions? So, the problem occurred because I began using Survey123 Connect #.10.231? Or Survey123 Beta Website? I need to print these reports - what do I need to downgrade to get these reports to print with images?

More details: The Survey123 form was created in version 3.10.231. Two feature services were downloaded and merged into a new FGDB using ArcGIS Pro. Checking the FGDB with Pro, the images were still attached and a relationship table existed in the FGDB. This was zipped and sent to ArcGIS Online. I opened the FGDB and published. Opening the web map, I was able to select any point and the popup displayed the proper images. I copies the URL for the feature service into the settings tab of the XLSForm supporting the Survey123 form created last week. I published the survey creating a new folder with the form and a new web map. I opened the web map in the map viewer (beta) and was able to see images related to each point I selected. I opened the Surver123 beta website and the Wildwood survey once again checking that images are still attached. I uploaded the report template, selected one feature and created a sample report. I get a two page report but the second page is blank where images should be. I open the template in an older version of the same data - the report displays the images as expected.

I managed to get the data merged and published but now the report does not print the images. I tried the report template with a different survey and the template seems to be fine. There is still a problem with the survey as I try to print PDF or DOC formatted reports from the Survey123 beta website. I do not think it is a beta website issue but more likely related to the survey. This is a link to the survey on the beta website: https://survey123beta.arcgis.com/surveys/c6e92f9382234c2a81c0c8f2a2e2b705/data Let me know what else I can do to help you resolve this reporting problem. Good afternoon, After following the guidance provided in the document How To: Append data to a Survey123 for ArcGIS survey from existing survey with related tables ... twice... the individual rows of data are added but no attachments are included. I downloaded from two existing surveys, merged in ArcGIS Pro, disabled editor tracking in both the geodatabase and in the feature service, zipped the file geodatabase, and ran the append but no attachments. Is there a newer process than the one referenced that works? Assistance needed today if possible! Leonard
