In the smart editor widget (web appbuilder - non dev edition), if you hold the control key down, it enables snapping when you create a new feature. However, when you simply want to edit an existing feature to move it to a new location, after hitting the "edit geometry" button, when you move your item, holding the control key does not seem to enable snapping, like it did for a new feature. Does anyone know how to enable snapping on edit geometry? I don't see any mention of it in the help menu. Thanks Dan

So I figured out the problem. I published this service to ArcGIS.com originally as a single symbol. Once in ArcGIS.com I changed it to attribute driven symbols. So web appbuilder was confused over which feature template to use for editing. The solution is to add your hosted feature service to a new blank arcgis.com map, set the attribute driven sybmols the way you want them, then hit Edit / Manage and update the feature template. As soon as i did this, the smart editor widget in web appbuilder came back to life and showed all my symbols for editing. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/share-maps/manage-feature-templates.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_AF3434562C3442F393C942E8952A3673

I have a hosted feature service in an arcgis.com map. When it is set to single symbol it shows up in my smart editor feature template pick list in Web AppBuilder. When I change the symbology of my layer to draw based on the values in an attribute field (ex. inspection complete = Yes/No), it disappears from the smart editor widget, and you can't make any edits to the layer. I have tried removing the widget and adding it again, and tried every single check box in the settings of the widget, but it wont work. As soon as i switch back to single symbol, it shows up in the smart editor widget again. Is this a known issue, or is there some configuration change I need to make?

Can this be modified in some way to open a multi-page PDF feature attachment to a specific page number, if the page number is stored in the attribute of the point/line/polygon? https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/link-html-pdf-page-acrobat.html

In desktop ArcGIS, you can configure hyperlinks to open to a specific page in a multi-page pdf, if your attribute data has the page number. In ArcGIS online if you have a multi-page PDF stored as a feature attachment, and your attribute table contains page numbers for each point/line/polygon in the map, can you create a way to click on the feature attachment and have it open to page 52 of 144 for example? I have an engineering record/as-build map viewer where the extent of each sheet from a plan set is graphically drawn as a rectangle on the map. The PDF page number is stored as an attribute, and the multi-page pdf is stored as a feature attachment. But it is cumbersome to open a 200 page PDF attachment and scroll to page 147. I don't have an internal web server or I could just store them as a pdf page open url. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/link-html-pdf-page-acrobat.html http://support.esri.com/technical-article/000008917

Scott, To your inquiry about how the symbology is set, we notice this when setting the symbology in ArcGIS.com. An example, if we wanted to show a fire hydrant for a desktop arcgis.com map, I would select "shapes", choose a circle, and set the size to 30 px, and it looks appropriately sized when viewed in a desktop browser. If i take the same map and open it in the Collector for ArcGIS app, the symbols are much smaller, especially when zoomed to the 1:1,280 zoom level or greater. I have to make a copy of my desktop ArcGIS.com map, and change the hydrant symbol size from 30 px, to 60 px to get it to look the same approximate size it appeared when viewed in the desktop browser. I have not tried this using symbology set on the publishing mxd, but I suspect it would be similar. thanks for looking into this.

And here I thought it was just me that found this annoying. I have been creating a separate map with giant symbols so when the field guys use it in Collector they can actually see the symbols. It would be nice if the sizing stayed consistent between arcgis.com browser map and the same map viewed in the collector app.

Now that ESRI Vector Basemaps are out of Beta and fully supported with the December 2016 update, I was hoping the print widget in WAB would start printing maps correctly, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know when we will be able to print Vector Basemaps?

New York State offers Http and Https rest services. They are depreciating http, so i setup my WAB with custom basemaps from different year aerial flights using https rest services. I was getting errors when trying to print. I just switched them back to Http and now it prints fine. Is there some sort of issue related to https and the print widget?

I am using the stock print widget in Web AppBuilder. If I use custom basemaps with Https aerial rest services from New York State GIS, or if I have an ESRI Vector basemap turned on in the map, the print widget throws an error, or it replaces current basemap with the default esri streets basemap. It seems the print widget will only work if I have one of the ESRI stock basemaps selected. Any workaround for this?

Our Arrow 200 paired with Collector stores the RTK ellipsoidal elevation value in Meters. There does not appear to be support yet right in collector to convert this to orthometric feet. In our case the values stored for elevation need to be adjusted about 116.6 feet after converting it through NGS geoid 12b https://www.ngs.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/GEOID_STUFF/geoid12B_prompt1.prl Esri does have some tools to update your lat, long, and elevation attribute values in ArcMap automatically back in the office https://github.com/Esri/collector-tools/tree/master/CollectorUtils Hopefully someone from the collector team can verify this approach and whether the next update of collector will include support for vertical datum transformations on the fly.

Hi Doug. Thank you so much for answering all of my questions. I can't wait to give the BETA a try. Sounds like your team has been hard at work adding improvements. Those will be greatly appreciated. Dan
