Also, the ArcGIS.com pop up edit window and web appbulider smart editor widget only shows me Yes/No values. But if I go to the Collector app or the web appbuilder Batch Edit widget, I get the choice, Yes/No/No Value.

Also, I tried going to the rest service admin directory / Update layer definition - for my feature service, and changing "nullable" : true, to "nullable" : false, for the yes/no field in question, but it doesn't seem to accept my change, and goes right back to "nullable" : true, after I save.

I have an inspection complete yes/no domain field in my arcgis.com map. Every point in the map was pre-populated with an attribute value of "No" before I published it to ArcGIS.com. When the inspection is complete, the user changes the value from No to Yes and the symbol changes color on the map from red to green. The problem is collector allows the user to input a <null> value, which is not symbolized for, so the point disappears from the map, since I have "other" turned off in the symbol settings. Is there a way to force Collector to only allow the Yes/No, and not accept the Null value? Or do I have to go back to may source data and turn off null values, then republish my feature service? Thanks Dan

I have a Ricoh Theta V 360 camera, that we are using to collect 360 photos in the field from our projects. Is there a way to have Collector connect to the external camera to take the photo? It would eliminate the step of having to take the 360 photo first with the Ricoh App, then adding the image as an attachment from my gallery. As a side note, I also submitted an ArcGIS Idea to add spherical image support to ArcGIS.com platform. https://community.esri.com/ideas/14908-360-spherical-image-support-for-feature-attachments Other apps such as google streetview, and mapillary provide support to capture sequences of geotagged 360 photos using the 360 camera instead of the phone camera. I hope ESRI follows this path. We could build some pretty cool web applications on the ArcGIS.com platform similar to https://www.holobuilder.com/solution/ or https://www.structionsite.com/ but not until there is universal support for spherical images.

Did you try the GeoTagged Photos to Points tool in ArcGIS Pro? Would that maybe eliminate the EXIF tool you use?

360 spherical images taken with devices such as the Ricoh Theta are becoming common in many industries supported by GIS professionals. Please add native support for viewing 360 spherical images when they are added as feature attachments to points in an ArcGIS.com map or Web AppBuilder app.

Wow, thank you for all of the great ideas everyone. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your work. I might get to the point of trying some of these out of necessity. I was really hoping for native support by ESRI. Because of the sheer volume of construction photos we could possibly take, the 360 photos work great to reduce the number of images you need to take. I need something quick and simple that wont require programming or separate web hosting outside of ArcGIS.com. I have also looked at using Mapillary, and Holobuilder but I would much rather use the ArcGIS.com subscription I already pay for, rather than subscribe to another service. If I go out and take 500 pre-construction photos of a 10 mile water main, it would be time consuming to do any sort of manual linking of 360 photos to an outside source. The Geotagged photos to features with attachements tools works great for this purpose, but is missing that last final piece with 360 photo support in ArcGIS.com. Can anyone from ESRI chime in here on when 360 support will be native?

Thanks for your reply. I see you are also doing some 3d Laser scanning too? What are you using to host the 360 photos in your pop-ups? i have also noticed that if you upload 360 photos to Google Photos and make the album public, when you click on the photo in Google you get a 3D panoramic streetview like viewer. So I suppose another workaround would be to upload your 360 photos to a Google Photos album, then pass the individual photo links back to your ArcGIS.com feature attribute table, and build it into your pop-up. Although i was hoping for a little more direct and easy solution native to ArcGIS.com without using programming or a third party software/service. I hate standardizing anything on the Google platform, because the change the products left and right, and pull the plug on others (Panaramio). Ideally we would like to capture our construction projects with photos at different stages and have an interactive ArcGIS.com map as the viewing interface.

Hello, We have a Ricoh Theta V camera that takes geo-tagged 360 photos. When I use the GeoTagged Photos to Points tool in ArcDesktop, and upload them as points with feature attachments to ArcGIS.com, the photo attachment does not let you view the photo in a 360 "streetview" type viewer. It just displays a flat warped photo. Is there any way to overcome this obstacle, or will this feature be added to the ArcGIS.com platform soon? These 360 cameras are cheap and becoming pretty popular. It would be nice to have a built-in viewer in ArcGIS.com. Thanks

Is there a way to import all of the points symbol styles used in an ArcGIS.com map to ArcGIS Pro? When I publish my data from Pro, I want it to already have the ArcGIS.com symbols by default. This would save a step after publishing from Pro having to open my feature service in an ArcGIS.com map and apply ArcGIS.com symbols I want to use. Currently I publish from ArcMap, and it is a pain to have to redo all the symbols in ArcGIS.com, was hoping that this process would be improved in the latest version of ArcGIS Pro. In Pro, I tried Insert/Add a Style/All portal / search, but it wasn't really clear if the full ArcGIS.com symbol set was there to access. Thanks

Thanks Robert. I think I figured it out. I went to the published feature service page, and on the visualization tab, it still showed the original ArcMap Desktop symbol. I changed it there, and hit save layer. Now the Batch Attribute Editor Widget symbol matches the symbol at map load.

In web app builder (non-developer), I just started experimenting with the batch attribute editor widget. That is one handy tool. Nice job ESRI! I did notice one interesting behavior of the tool which i was not sure if it was a bug or not. I am using a hosted feature service that I originally published from ArcMap Desktop. In the ArcGIS.com map that controls the Web AppBuilder app, I changed the map symbol of my hosted feature service from the ArcMap desktop symbol to one of the ArcGIS.com map symbols, and saved it to the layer. The Web AppBuilder App honors the ArcGIS.com symbol like it supposed to on map load, until you turn on the Batch Attribute Editor Widget. In the widget, some of my map symbols switch back to their original ArcMap desktop symbols when I activate the tool by picking one of the selection options. When you turn off the Batch Attribute Editor Widget, the symbols go back to the ArcGIS.com map version. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Hi Kelly, Thank you for your suggestions. It ultimately led me down the path to figuring out this problem. After several hours of methodically creating, re-creating, and re-publishing my feature class with attachments and changing one variable at a time, I stumbled upon the cause of my problem. I used a match table to batch load the PDF attachments to my 3000 points. In doing so, I manually created a field in my attribute table called "AttributeID". As soon as I turned that column off in my attribute table, suddenly I was able to publish my feature class to ArcGIS.com again, without the attachments disappearing. I was able to replicate this behavior in ArcMap 10.4.1, and ArcPro 2.0.1, so I'm not sure if this is a "bug" or not, but if you could report it that would be great. Thanks Dan
