I just added a shapefile to a blank MXD, published it as a feature service layer, and when I go to AGOL, and try to add it to an ArcGIS.com map, i get "Error, this layer XXXX cannot be added to the map". If i go to the feature service page, and click the data tab to see the attributes, and the table will not load, it gives a red box that says there was an error. I cant report the issue from the health page as i am not the organization admin.

Did ESRI give you an idea what the problem was, or how long it would take to fix? I am getting random errors in several different components of AGOL.

thanks for checking in. i was starting to think i was losing my mind. as the operations dashboard health thing said there were no issues. i also uploaded the same feature layer to a different AGOL account, and it seemed to work just fine, but i go back to my clients account and it throws errors. account is valid, with plenty of credits.

we have noticed several issues this morning of map layers not loading, 500 error codes, and not being able to get to individual feature layer pages without big red pop-ups saying there is an error. this happens on desktop and mobile web browsers, but seems to be fine in Collector app.

Thanks for clarifying. I will stop trying to figure out why I can't get it to work. It also appeared as though the TPKX file created 24 zoom layers, even though i specified 21 in the arcpro 2.3 tool used to generate the package.

I did notice that my REST service page says Current Version 10.61, and the help documents say 10.7, so perhaps this is this issue?

In using ArcGIS Pro 2.2 and 2.3 to create map tile packages using the "Create Map Tile Package" tool, I have noticed it always says 100% complete, long before the process is done. The current process I am running will take a couple more hours to complete, and it already say 100%. ESRI please fix this. Thanks

I created a .tpkx file of some aerial photography using ArcGIS Pro 2.3. I chose the option .tpkx instead of .tpk as it looked like it might perform better based on the help menu explanation. I uploaded the .tpkx package to arcgis.com, and had it create a tile layer from it. When I add the tile layer (projected to web mercator) to an arcgis.com map it will display just fine. However, if I move it to become the basemap layer of the map, then try using the map in the basemap widget of Web AppBuilder, it either does not display the map, or when I open the Arcgis.com map again, it says it is not a supported file type for basemaps. I have used this same process before with the regular .tpk file. I am guessing the .tpkx file isn't supported then? I have searched ESRI help menus and all I can find about a .tpkx file is this: tpkx —The tiles are stored using CompactV2 storage format which provides better performance on network shares and cloudstore directories. This improved and simplified package structure type is supported by newer versions of the ArcGIS Platform such as ArcGIS Online 7.1, ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7 and ArcGIS Runtime 100.5. Any suggestions? I am running it again as a normal .tpk file but it will take several hours to complete.

Its been a while, but I recall connecting the Glo to the iPad with just bluetooth. As a white listed apple product, it should overwrite the core location service apple provides to Collector without setting up a location profile. on android, i used the bluetooth GPS app to enable "mock" gps location. again, no location profile setup in collector.

I have a WAB application that I built for field staff to access with a mobile web browser (chrome). When I share the URL for the WAB application it works fine if I use it on my desktop PC. However, when I click the link on my mobile phone, it opens in Chrome, prompts for my login, then after I enter my credentials, it brings me to my organization page/my content webpage, instead of loading the map. I don't have the "desktop site" option checked in chrome mobile browser. I was finally able to get my map to load by clicking on the WAB application from the my contents page on my mobile browser. So I bookmarked it to my phones home screen. The next time I clicked on the bookmark, it prompted me to log in, then did the same thing and re-directed me to the my contents page instead of opening the map. any thoughts? Thanks

I am using the latest version of Collector on a Google Pixel 2 (Android 8.1) and an iPad (wifi version) on iOs 10.4.1. When I use the Garmin Glo external GPS on the Google Pixel 2, Collector reports an accuracy between 5 and 6 feet. If I connect the same Garmin Glo to the iPad at the same time, Collector reports an accuracy on the iPad of 16 feet. In both instances I know Collector is using the Garmin Glo's position, as I can walk away from the Glo and my position on the map does not change. So why the difference in reported accuracy between the android and apple devices using the same external GPS? Thanks
