Hi Axel, Are you using 2.5? No matter the version, it was never possible to select multiple origin features (your buildings) and update multiple related destination records (your building use records stored in the table) at once. In the Attribute pane in 2.5 and previous versions, you can select a single origin feature and then update multiple destination records at once. This rectangular polygon has 2 related records in a table. I can navigate down to the related records and update multiple related records at once: I'm curious about the behavior that you report to be missing. Can you please expand a bit on your exact workflow? Does it match mine to some degree above? Thanks for any clarification, Scott

Hi Pete, I've been trying to reproduce this on my end, however, I'm not seeing it occur. A few questions: Where is the polyline stored. You mention shapefile, but I'd like to have some clarification. (perhaps it could be shapefile, FGDB, EGDB, hosted feature service, etc)? What is the coordinate system of the polyline layer? You mentioned that it seems to occur more often when the lines are made up of line and circular arc segments. Can you clarify what is the geometry you are using when reshaping - does it also contain curves? Are you able to reproduce with steps showing screenshots - that might help me narrow it down by following along with your steps. Thanks for any additional details! Scott

Hi Vincent, I'm in 2.5 and I tried to reproduce performance issues with editing annotation properties such as alignment, text string, and placement; however, the edits I make take less than a second - even when I have a lot of annotation features drawing in the same view ( > 500). Perhaps this comes down to where and how the feature class is stored on your end? Is it in a File Geodatabase being accessed over a network, or in an Enterprise Geodatabase? FYI - Esri Support can help you narrow this down - Esri Support Contact Support Thanks, Scott

Hi Kurt, Are your polygons z-enabled? The Split tool should be able to cut into non-z enabled polygons. Ideally, the Split tool could do this with z-enabled polygons too, and this is something we are working on. Until Split works to cut into a z-enable polygon, you can use a temporary polygon layer to create a temporary feature for use in the Clip tool to cut into another polygon, like you already mentioned. Incidentally, a hole can be created in z-enabled (and non-z) polygons using the Continue Feature tool. Thanks, Scott

Hi Danielle, Construct Polygon is used to create polygons from closed loops of selected lines. So you need lines and polygons in the map. With Construct Polygons open, select the lines that form a closed loop, choose a polygon feature template and click Construct. Construct polygons from features—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation In your case, it sounds like Copy > Paste Special would work to copy polygons from one layer to another. Copy and paste features using the clipboard—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation I hope this helps. Thanks, Scott

Hmm... okay. It's a bit difficult to say what could be going on without seeing it. If you want, feel free to post as much info as you can about the issue (video/screenshots are most helpful). You can also show the issue to Esri Technical Support as they should have the option to screenshare with you. Thanks, Scott

Hi, ...it would be good for Pro to honour splitting/extending/trimming the single feature you have selected rather than an unselected one below it. Split and Extend/Trim have a checkbox on the bottom. When unchecked, the selected feature is the only one that gets modified: Does this help? Thanks, Scott

Hi Rob, I'm just following up - have you seen this problem again since the first time? If so, do you frequently work with new feature classes in a File Geodatabase that is stored on a mapped network drive location? If that's the case, we were able to reproduce the issue in this specific scenario. The good news is that it should no longer occur in 2.5 (coming soon). Thanks, Scott

Hi Adam, Yes, Construct Polygons works with lines from CAD drawings at 2.5. As far as release date for 2.5: Here is a recent discussion about it: https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-13641-arcgis-pro-roadmap-july-2019#comment-81988 Thanks, Scott
