Hi Owen, Are the two lines using the same coordinate system? What is the map's coordinate system? Does it match the lines? Are there any transformations being applied in the map? Does the symbology of the line have an offset effect? Thanks, Scott

Hi Caroline, Feature Templates are based on layers, so if you have layers in the map that are symbolized using your style, the templates will reflect that. Some finer details: If your layer is symbolized using unique values, each of the symbol classes will be available as a feature template that corresponds to a particular field and its value. From there, you can further customize a particular feature template's properties to override attributes. Some info here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/manage-feature-templates.htm Once you author your layers and templates, you might want to share them with your colleagues using a project template. Does that help? Thanks, Scott

Favorite Feature Templates were added to ArcGIS Pro at version 2.4 which allows you to organize templates by dragging and dropping them or putting them into folders: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.6/help/editing/organize-favorite-feature-templates.htm

Hi @LonSharp You can turn on Dynamic Constraints to show segment direction (or deflection) and distance. It also works while reshaping. If you want to enter specific vales, you can hit TAB while sketching. Turn it on at the bottom of the map: Help topic: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/constrain-distance-for-a-segment.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_449C5C5F9BFA4C419BFEC9637DC0FA82 -Scott

Hi @Shawnzeecatz We intend to make an improvement for the handles in a future release of ArcGIS Pro - like adding transparency to them. Two suggestions until then: 1. Set a reference scale on the map. Map properties > General > Reference scale. Zoom into the scale that you will be working, and then choose <Current> from the drop-down to set the reference scale to that. If you want to turn off the reference scale for a specific layer: Layer properties > Display > uncheck "Scale symbols when a reference scale is set". Now when you rotate points, you can zoom in a bit to see the symbol. 2. Use the Attributes pane to perform your rotation. Edit tab > Attributes > check Auto Apply on in the bottom of the pane > select the point you want to rotate > find the field that's used to set the rotation and scroll with the mouse to increase the rotation value. Click off of the cell to apply the edit (auto apply) and see the result on the map. In my example, I also set a transparency on my selection color: Project > Options > Application > Selection > color picker dropdown > color properties > increase the transparency to ~50%. If your points are not just circles (i.e. triangles, squares etc.), that steps might not be necessary. Thanks, Scott

@MarcelSt-Germain To add to what Kory said, here are a few more things that might do what you are asking for here: If multiple layers are already editable in List By Editing, you can right click on a single layer and choose 'Make this the only editable layer' You should also be aware of the option to Enable and disable editing from the Edit tab option for the application: This option will disable editing at the application level until you click the Edit button on the Edit tab: More info on this option: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/enable-and-disable-editing.htm One last thing, the Selection tool that's available on the Modify tools actually filters the selection and will only select editable layers (or layers it can act on), example for Move: More info on this: Select features for editing - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/select-features-for-editing.htm Effectively, the editing tools already offer a way to select only editable layers. One more tip that's not specific to selecting or modifying features, but might be helpful for creating features is the filtering capabilities of the Create Features pane. For example, you could filter to only show the templates for the layer that's currently selected in the Contents pane: Thanks, Scott

Hi @MarkVolz Thanks for the feedback. Regarding #1, Our team will discuss this so I'll leave this idea open for feedback from other users. Re: #2, we now have near-term plans to improve the discoverability of selecting nodes and edges. Re: #3, perhaps we need some clarification from you. For working with nodes, if you are using Edit Vertices, it should work like this: 1. Select: hover over either a node or edge to show highlighting and then click to select either the node or the edge (you can also hold down N and drag a box to select just the node). 2. Edit: to move a shared vertex (node), hover over the vertex to bring up the move handle, and then move it. The reason we need the two steps: the first click does the selecting of the edge or node, the second is for actually editing (selecting/adding/removing/moving vertices and segments - if you select an edge). Re: #4: the next release of the documentation will be updated to include this information. Thanks, Scott
