I have to create a four pane map layout, showing progression of a project through four years. I created one pane the way I wanted them all to look, and copied it. I then pasted it and moved the copy to a free area in the layout. I then tried to turn on another layer within the map element that I just pasted. I selected the map element (activated the map frame) and the layer appeared, but it also appeared in the first map element I copied from. It is like the two map frames are linked. Is there a way to turn this off? Thanks, --Adam

I did not have this problem before upgrading to 2.2.0 yesterday. Now when I run a model where I am placing the resultant Feature Class into a File Geodatabase and then calculating fields in that same Feature Class - I cannot find the Feature Class - cannot find it after Refreshing the FGDB - cannot find it after closing ArcGIS Pro‌ and opening it again. All of the sudden, ArcGIS Pro is useless!

I put in a ticket with Esri Customer Service and they fixed me right up. There is a bug listed for this same issue within the Query Widget. This filtering does not work when the service is published with Pro. I created another service with ArcGIS for Desktop and the functionality worked just fine. --Adam

Now, still the same issue at 10.6. - using Enterprise GIS‌ / Portal for ArcGIS‌ / built-in Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS‌ I understand: From the ArcGIS Enterprise web site: If you want to filter based on a specific value in the field you've selected for your expression, choose Unique and select a unique value from your field. It also allows you to dynamically show the values based on the previous expressions or all other expressions regardless their orders. My settings for an example... ...after one filter expression is applied, subsequent views into any other expression show my coded values, but does not limit the values based on all other expressions. For Example: With the other expressions defined and applied, this ReportNo list should only contain two records. I'd like to know what I am doing wrong. If no one can answer that... Has anyone gotten this to work at all? Thanks, --Adam

Note: Environment is Enterprise GIS‌ / Portal for ArcGIS‌ and Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS at v10.6 Hi everyone! I am having a little trouble with the Details Element and Coded Value Domains. The coded value is not appearing in for any fields in the Details Element. For a quick look, I took a pic of the Details Element on the right and a popup of the same record on the right: Now, the coded values show up in the filter for the Details Element and in all the other elements that I have used so far, including List, Pie Chart, and Serial Chart - in both filters and actual content in each fully configured Element. Might something be wrong with the Details Element? Thanks, --Adam

This is all in the 10.6.1 Portal environment... When you get a nice Dashboard with lots of Selectors configured in the header - and then someone wants just one more. Quickly you find out that the Header Panel does not contain a scroll function or resize its selector boxes. You cannot see the next selector on the header unless you expand the dashboard across two screens which is not feasible. Is there a way to transition the contents of the Header Panel to a new Left Panel? Any other ideas that do not include configuring the entire panel of 6 selectors again (one a date range selector)? Thanks for any ideas or info! --Adam

I am having trouble using the Indicator - well, most of the data-driven elements when wanting to use a certain percentage of.... Heck, I have trouble even describing it. This is in Portal at 10.6: I have a map service that contains a test grid, basically squares that cover Pennsylvania. Each grid square has a value for County (County Name that the grid square falls mostly in) and a value for Result (Pass, Fail). I need to create an Indicator or Gauge that shows the Percentage of Passes in GREEN if >= 95% of the total number of tests are 'Pass', and the same in RED if < 95% of the total number of tests are 'Fail'. I don't really need count numbers. I will then let a category selector filter the element for either specific counties or "ALL" counties. Has anyone accomplished this type of configuration? I feel that these are probably not the tools I'm looking for, or the data format i'm looking for! Thanks, --Adam

As I understand it, this is not in the current release. Hi Jeff, The follow feature in the original Operations Dashboard was the only out-of-the-box way we had to "follow" specific tracks within AVL. I am very upset to hear that it has not been developed as basic functionality in the new OD. Let's get it in there!!! AVL via GeoEvent. Want to use streaming too! Thanks!

...and then jskinner-esristaff‌ comes to the rescue... I just had to turn off the Windows Authentication in IIS for the "portal" Web Adaptor, and then the /webadaptor page was accessible through the DNS Alias URL. Doing the rest of the update now. --Adam

dan becker‌ - I am trying to follow this specific step you mentioned: Step #2. "If a DNS Alias will be used with the portal, the Web Adaptor should be configured over the DNS Alias instead". This is now my attempt to update from 10.5.1 to 10.6. I haven't deleted, modified or updated anything yet. The 10.5.1 web adaptor is still in place. We use Single Sign On. While logged into the Web Adaptor machine and try to browse to the Portal Web Adaptor setup page, it will ask for my credentials 3 times and then give me a HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized. Same if I try to browse to the Portal home page. Any other machine, I can successfully navigate to either the Portal home OR the Portal Web Adaptor setup page via the DNS Alias URL. The Portal Web Adaptor setup from these other machines just tell me that I have to access this link from the Web Adaptor Machine. Since I can't access this page on the Web Adaptor machine, how did I make this work in the first place? Going to call technical support tomorrow morning. --Adam

When making a new filter within the Filter Widget and asking for values, does the List Values drop-down do anything? I am reading the instructions as - once the user sets one filter expression, the list of values offered to the user in a subsequent filter expression will only give the users values occurring within the previous expression. In the following example, if I set "Station" to "Central", the list of "LastName" will only be last names that are found in the records where "Station" is "Central". I try to do this - it filters and only shows events of Central Station, but when trying to select a last name, all of the last names in the dataset show up. It is not limited by the first expression. I did this with both within the same filter and different filters. What am I missing or is this a bug? Portal/server 10.5.1 Thanks, --Adam
