Hey there, This may be an internalization issue, may I ask if you have the ability to log a support ticket for further investigation?

Hey there Bryce, let me explain: The license has been deprecated: This means that Esri will no longer sell / require the license to use ArcGIS for PowerBI, instead opting for user types The license is still required in 10.8.1: Due to technical limitations in 10.8.1 / 10.8 licensing, ArcGIS Enterprise still requires the license. Esri has allocated a large number of licenses to existing users of ArcGIS for PowerBI at no cost to those users. The current workflow is to re generate the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal license with these new licenses allocated. Should you need more, or do not see those add on licenses, feel free to contact customer Customer Services and they will be able to assist you with getting more allocations. Please let me know if this clears it up for you, I'd be happy to assist.

Hey there Tony, After some research into this, you should be able to rotate the AAG certificate with the new certificate. The internal endpoints utilize self signed certs that are also imported into the AAG configuration, so I wouldn't worry about these either. Thank you for bearing with me!

@Kate447 I can't speak for the product team, but I will say that the Product Team is aware of this limitation. There is an existing Enhancement in the works that addresses this issue: ENH-000137246: Allow the ability to publish map enabled reports to web that are symbolized based on standard boundaries. Please log a case with Esri Tech Support and request that you account be added to this issue. This way, you will be able to see what the status is of the defect. Additionally, once you submit your idea I will be able to link these two together to better the strength of both. Please let me know if you have any questions.

@Kate447 Currently, only Latitude and Longitude points are accepted for publish to web workflows regardless of license type. I would appreciate it if you could log the idea and let me know where it is when you do.

Hey there, I was able to connect to @CameronKroeker who helped me get some details on this. 1) "CertificateFile": "" - The location of the .cer file of the ArcGIS Server host. (This is not the .pfx or .cer with a private key, so no password is required) 2) "Thumbprint": "" -This can be found by opening the certificate details pane (open ArcGIS Server host, click on the lock icon, go to Details and scroll all the way down.) 3) "PortalContext": - This is the alias of the web adaptor for portal (https://esri.com/portal) 4) "ServerContext":Same as above but for ArcGIS Server 5) "PasswordFile": "" - This is a path to the encrypted password .txt file. More detaisl on how to generate this can be found here: https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-powershell-dsc/wiki/V3.-Password-Files-and-Encrypted-Deployments 6) "PathToItemInfoFile": "" - This can be left blank This comes straight from the API, created via https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/enterprise-administration/server/iteminfo-upload.htm As for your last question, you are unable to merge both the configuration and publish actions because they invoke different methods. To Invoke the publish method: Invoke-PublishService -ConfigurationParameterFile.json Versus the Configuration Method: Invoke-ArcGISConfiguration -Mode Install -ConfigurationParameterFile my.json I have given this feedback to Mr. Kroeker, who will update the current sample to include these remarks to make it a bit easier to use. Additionally, he will also ensure that the placeholders get included in the wiki. If you have any issues, please feel free to ask, or better yet post in the github community.

The Near Me widget should work on Map Image Layers, but I have seen some issues with incorrect returns logged as defects for this function. Could you provide me with more details about your environment (versions, step by step workflow)

John, Thank you for reaching out! This particular deployment type was an experiment that did not continue past 10.5.1. I'm taking a look to see if we can get it removed from the listings. That being said, this was rolled up into a different project that should be releasing soon (ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes). This is quite a bit bigger than just an ArcGIS Server Image, but nevertheless should be interesting. Stay tuned for more updates on that!
