Hi Mary, I'd be happy to take a look at this with you. Are you trying to load the GeoInquiry maps by clicking the links at the top of the PDF (they start "https://esriurl.com/....")? In that case, they'll be opening in the current Map Viewer. I ask because this forum is about the Map Viewer Beta, and I'm not sure if you are trying to use the GeoInquiry maps in the new Map Viewer Beta.

I wanted to explore scale and how it affects maps and share that with my kids. So we got out some white paper, drew some maps, and had some fun playing with how it worked. I've written about our exploration and encourage you to try it with your littles! Draw San Francisco

The first thing I would check is that the new map contains an editable layer. And if it does, but that layer was recently made editable, try saving your map again.

Hi Andrew! My role at Esri has changed and I'm no longer on the Collector team. Doug Morgenthaler or Jeff Shaner should be able to give you some info.

I'd consider using related records to store the repeat visits, and capturing the editor information to get the date. You can see some conceptual information about when this is useful here: Design your layer > Choose how to store your layer > Record current status with historical records —ArcGIS Collector | Documentation You can see a full example of setting this up, including how it looks/works in Collector, in the Learn lesson Inspect hydrants

It's not CSV data, so I'm not sure if it will help you, but ArcGIS Living Atlas has some layers that might be useful for you. 1. Here is a layer of the historical Magnetic Pole track for 1590-2025 (the link has details about the model used to make it): https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=22ccda92950748b28ea2bfde15dbf4e9 And this app is about magnetic declination 1590 - 2020 was made by NOAA and is freely available: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=d38f95bd712547b4b607435ccfbadfc9 3. These layers for sea surface temperature are both in ArcGIS Living Atlas and are included in organizational subscriptions:https://livingatlas.arcgis.com/en/browse/#d=2&q=%22Sea%20Surface%20Temperature%20(%C2%B0C)%22 Sea Surface Temperature: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=7b421e42c17b43f8ad7222b8f71d09e7 Arctic Sea Surface Temperature: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=a214c76dfb4c4f4e8da10bd7f744666f There is also data for US Historical Climate monthly averages 1981 - 2010: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b8df6517ceac42af9ab483089296ed04

Once you have put your map into the dashboard, you will be able to pick from the layers in the map to drive the data in the widgets. Let me know if a Zoom call might be easiest for this and I can set something up.

You'll make a map in ArcGIS Online that contains the data from the survey, and have your dashboard use that map.

Hi Dominique - I'd be happy to help you. The content from the Ed Summit was a pairing of the app Survey123 (where the person submitted their location, pictures, etc.) and then a dashboard that was showing the results of that survey. Let me know where you are at and how I can help.

Hi Tom -- When you add the layer to a map, the popup will be made based on the information (fields) in the map at the time. If you then add another field, it won't appear in the popup until you add it in for display, as you gave steps for in your post. In the blog, since you add all the fields before adding the layer to the map, you shouldn't need to go in and edit the popup. If you add the layer to the map earlier than the fields are added to the layer, then you will need to. I'm still seeing this behavior.

You can scan a barcode to search in Collector on iOS. It's not there yet on Android. On iOS, when you search, you'll see a barcode option above the keyboard (similar to what you see when filling out a form).
