G'day Amos! Just a small tweak ... our names in AD are (were) not standardised. We sometimes need a user to connect to Portal (with Integrated Windows Authentication) to see the account name being used. Some users needed to be username@DOMAIN (and combinations of) though Android needs the domain and iOS doesn't.

G'day Jon! Not entirely sure. Is a "Field Note" a specific ESRI term or you just wish to add some text to each feature? If "Field Note" is a specific ESRI term, then I have no idea. I use Collector via Portal and this may be an AGOL thing. If just wanting the ability to add text, then create a new attribute called Note and assign type text.

G'day Again! I am using ArcGIS Portal. I have Portal set to automatically create a named user on login. I would like everyone in "My Organisation" to use some maps via Collector for ArcGIS immediately after login. I have shared the map(s) with "My Organisation" Via a web browser, I can see the above shared maps in the Gallery. Via Collector, I can not see the maps, unless I also add the user to a group. What have I missed? What is the workaround? PS scheduling a task to run every XX minutes to add users to a group is undesirable, Thanks

If yes, what is needed to enable the functionality? Simply sending a “WWW-Authenticate: Basic” header does not seem to trigger the client to respond with an Authorization header with their credentials. Thanks

G'day Jake I like the idea and not sure it will work in this situation? Some more details from me may help. A field user submits a situation report or a weather report or something with ArcCollector. This data lands in HQ in our field geodatabase. We then wish to automatically populate an event log in our operational system (non spatial) database. HH:MM: Joe Blogs: New weather report: Temp: 39, Humidity 22 etc etc (To add to the mix, the event log also requires an incident name and there is NO attribute in ArcCollector to say what is the relevant incident(s). We would prefer users NOT to type this in. There will be multiple collectors at multiple incidents at any one time. Some spatial analysis is also required as a part of the automation) Maybe can't avoid trigger / scheduled task? Thanks again

G'day All! No response in the ArcCollector place and probably more relevant to here anyways. What hooks / notifications are there to use after a REST service has updated a feature class? Once data has come 'in' from Collector, we wish to add a notification to a different system. Database triggers and scheduled tasks are frowned upon. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks
