We also had similar behavior the other week. Eventually ... we rechecked all the settings and 'somehow' they were changed; ie Enable Tracking. This is with an on-site Portal install, so maybe not relevant for you.

I get the same thing after upgrading to iOS 8.0.2 For variety I also sometimes get: The operation couldn't be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.) I found if I do a hard reset (on/off button and home button held down together) then I can login the FIRST time only. Does this 'work' for you?

I assume you are on Android? Via your browser, login to the Portal and then click "My Organisation" Look for your Name. Confirm your Username Use the exact Username as the login via the app. See what happens.

G'day Russ! Thanks, very handy. Have already noticed (on Android) that a user can have multiple incorrect logins and then when the correct password is typed the user is logged in. Previously, subsequent correct logins were ignored and you had to restart the app (after clearing data). PS NIM104177 is marked as fixed and NIM101272 is not.
