G'day Russ Ok. Changes at the moment (until we start using more): - pre-load or remember organisational URL (though you expect this already) - use company logo for app icon - better understand the start-up authentication process (another thread on here) - attribute hints to appear without having to hit backspace - populating an attribute drop down from a dynamic web link; ie current incidents (may be able to do with domains on server) - order that features display when adding new feature (a web service thing and raised in another thread) - attribute(s) to fill in dependant on previous response to another attribute (like ArcPad) - possibly tabbed attribute pages when many attributes to collect - apply a buffer to a feature (may already be possible, haven't got to investigate this) - scrolling message feed (optional) for any alerts / updates; ie asbestos in this area, weather change now expected at 1400hrs Appreciate a LOT of great stuff already in Collector and there is only so much so many people can do!

G'day Russ We are not seeing that behaviour. If we close out of the Collector app or turn off the device the previously entered Organisational URL reverts to http://www.arcgis.com Regards

G'day All! What are the supported authorisation protocols for Collector? If a user can connect to the Portal via a web browser, shouldn't Collector also work? We are trying, for security reasons, to have our reverse proxy server perform the authentication to the Portal server and then have the reverse proxy server pass back to Collector if it is authorised. We have tested (on same tablet) no authentication between proxy and Portal;ie passthru: - Collector App works - Portal works via (some) web browsers We have tried (on same tablet) BASIC authentication between proxy and Portal: - Collector App fails - Portal works via (some) web browsers (Chrome 34.0 chokes on a woff file and I digress) I appreciate there are a few variables at play here and a better understanding of how Collector handles authentication would help some other pieces of the puzzle to fit into place. Thanks for your time

Ok ... FINALLY worked it out, by accident. The save edits of a portal map hanging that is. I had a couple of 'local' web services in my portal map and the default ArcGIS Online basemap. If I replaced the base map service with a local service then the portal map would save straight away. A few other equally odd behaviours to get to this point and hopefully our local ESRI Support will be passing them on. Still some issues with publishing hosted services and just skipped that for now and published unhosted.
