I can't be 100% sure from your screenshot, but when I hover over Clear (Clear selection of all features) with the 'Show command IDs on ScreenTips' on, I see that it has something to do with raster layers. This is why it can help to grab the specific command ID from the command first and search using that - it is unambiguous. In ArcGIS Pro 3.1.2 I did what you're describing. Right-clicking on that Clear button > Copy Command ID should give you esri_mapping_clearSelectionButton. Go to customize the ribbon > All Commands and search for that. I was able to set it to Ctrl+Shift+A and it works. What are we missing? ... View more

Without a specific bug referenced I can't say for sure whether issues discussed on this thread will be addressed, but wanted to note that ArcGIS Pro 3.1 Patch 2 (3.1.2) does contain fixes that could address what is discussed on this thread. @Bud I tested this in 3.1.2 and do not see the behavior you're describing. I've asked a colleague from the geodatabase team to take a look and make a call - but this may be invalid as an "idea" as it appears that it may not be generically applicable, could be data-specific, and likely will require some troubleshooting. ... Closing this as it was a request for ArcMap. The layer properties dialog box in ArcGIS Pro can be expanded as requested, and the part about legend properties is no longer applicable as that is part of a pane in Pro. ... View more

Please see the ArcGIS Ideas Submission Guidelines and Statuses for guidance on submitting requests that do not contain multiple ideas. For #2 "The ability to rename an item so it's easier to identify in the list and go back to and utilize later on in a project. This would add a little enhancement to being able to add to History Favorites" There is an existing idea. Please go to History: allow annotation or alias of item names  and add your kudos there. If you always want a new, separate feature class, then you could run the Spatial Join tool. The right-click option runs the Add Spatial Join tool which is the new tool, and creates the in-memory join. Coming in Pro 3.2 later this year a parameter will be added asking whether you want to permanently join those fields to the target.  Maybe that will work well for you? If not, run the Spatial Join tool to create an entirely new feature class.   ... View more
