MHOOLE_governmentofbc are you doing the work entirely in ArcGIS Online? What happens if you set it up in ArcGIS Pro? i.e. use the Arcade expression on the table first, and then when published as a service, the table attribute should use the expression and then it would be carried over to the pop-up. Just an idea. There aren't many details in the Idea description so it is possible I'm missing something about the workflow.

Naomi, I don't see any screenshots where you reference them in your post. The error message that you reference here "However when I tried to do this I would get the following error message." would be helpful. Join organization—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS indicates that a "public account, including one you created with social network credentials" can be converted to an organizational account. Having the error would be helpful. Thank you.

To keep a label class from displaying as a label with another label class, if I understand correctly, you would select the Label Class that you don't want to display, and then uncheck the option 'Label Features In This Class.' So in this example, I have Class 1 and Class 2. If I don't want to display labels for Class 2, select that and uncheck 'Label Features In This Class.'

https://community.esri.com/ideas/10615 is In Product Plan. With the caveat that things can change due to unforeseen circumstances meaning there is no guarantee, etc. etc. we will likely see this functionality in ArcGIS Pro 2.1 to be released later this year. Hope this helps.

Noel Peterson The ‘V’ (rotate) hot-key will do what you need – hold V and left-mouse to rotate the map AND… the ‘N’ (north) hot-key will get the map back to a rotation value of 0 when the Explore tool is active. This functionality is already offered in ArcGIS Pro. Please respond to let me know if it meets your requirement, and if so, we'll update the Idea's status to Already Offered. Thank you!

Hi Judson, I was reviewing another Idea that has gotten some attention recently (ArcGIS Pro 2.0 + SDE Connections in Favorites) and it caused me to come back to this one. I reverted the status to Reviewed for the idea of allowing to make an SDE connection to a database directly from a folder, without adding the connection to a project. However, please visit and review that idea and provide additional details in the Comments as I think working on that Idea might help with your work. For some of the other concerns you mention above, there is the ability to Rename items in your Favorites collection, and you can drag and drop them to help a bit with their organization (I understand that doesn't provide full tag, search and organization capabilities, but it could help a little). To understand how the Favorites work, you can open the Favorites.json file located in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\ArcGISPro\Favorites A text editor like Notepad ++ works well to view the file. Finally, as for being able to copy the path for an Item from the Catalog pane, please see https://community.esri.com/ideas/12652 Thank you!

Hillary, I think that the next best step would be to contact Customer Service to sort out which customer account your subscription is associated with, and check to make sure the number of licenses is correct and that those are active. I would do that (Customer Service) before technical support.

Steve, for the "Upgrades should copy anything that might be required or custom (different than default) into a folder for the upgrade version and blow out the old crap." issue, go to Maintain customizations when updating to a major release and/or https://community.esri.com/ideas/11911, up vote and provide your requirements in the comments as you see fit. Thank you!

jeffking428 and njbegg You've both mentioned that you're trying to authorize ArcGIS Pro using a public ArcGIS Online account. Public accounts can't be used to authorize ArcGIS Pro. See https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/arcgis-pro/blog/2017/04/10/how-to-manage-your-arcgis-pro-license-with-arcgis-online?sr=search&searchId=8404ff8e-c749-4d15-8ec2-8dcc939f6c48&searchIndex=0 This blog will walk you through the steps to set up a Pro license through ArcGIS Online, but it sounds like you may need to first activate the ArcGIS Online organization account that comes with the purchase of the Personal Use license. Please walk through the steps provided and let us know if you run into issues. Thank you!

I might also add that it seems the other part of the idea about users being able to see their credits may be a duplicate of https://community.esri.com/ideas/12594 KCullen-esristaff

Hi Gelcys Nielsen If I'm understanding that last paragraph correctly, you want to limit user privileges, either to disallow them from geocoding using the World Geocoding Service, or control the number of credits that they can use, correct? These settings do not need to be controlled through the desktop client (either ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro) as you have control of them as the Administrator of the ArcGIS Online account. Have you explored the Configure roles—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS documentation? Set up a role for users who you don't want to geocode and disable that privilege: Configure credits—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS talks about how you can set up credit budgeting. I hope that this information is helpful in getting the users in your organization set up to do their work successfully.
