Duncan, this is not yet built in to ArcGIS Pro. There is an enhancement request [ENH-000096482: In ArcGIS Pro, include the ability to add a script debugger through Options > Geoprocessing] which has a status of In Product Plan but I don't think we'll see this in the Pro 2.1 release. It will be coming in a future release.

BUG-000091451: The values of the ObjectID field for feature classes and the FID field for shapefiles change to -1 after running the Copy Rows geoprocessing tool and saving the output file with the .txt extension. Should be fixed in the next release. I just tested in Pro 2.1 and the .txt and .xls output maintains objectid instead of writing -1.

We've just posted a new Quick Start Guide that provides step-by-step instructions on how to download, install and license ArcGIS Pro. It covers the default and most-used way of authorizing Pro which is the Named User method through ArcGIS Online, and also walks the user through converting Named User licenses to Single Use or Concurrent Use. The guide also includes a troubleshooting section containing tips and tricks to resolve issues that are frequently seen in Technical Support. Take a look at Getting Started with ArcGIS Pro.

asainz09 I'll ping you offline to see if you can share your layouts and data. Logging an idea to improve performance, while it may garner a lot of votes (after all, who doesn't want everything to be faster, always! ) doesn't give us anything specifically actionable. If you're able to share your data and some layouts that are not performing well, that gives the development team something to look at. Thank you.

D T To get more of an equivalent experience to opening the Data Frame properties, double-click or right-click > Properties on the map in the Contents pane in Pro. That opens up the map properties: When I last closed mine it was on the Coordinate Systems tab so immediately opens to that. You can set a coordinate system based on your Favorites, other layers in the map, both listed first before you get to browsing through GCS or PCS: The General tab allows you to directly set your display units: The Map and Scene settings that you reference are settings at the Application level for new maps and scenes, not a current map: To make changes to current map properties, use the double-click or right-click functionality. Granted, there isn't an equivalent Apply functionality at this time which you do note in your description above. I hope that this info is helpful!

Hi Lynn, Do you only have 1 map in the Pro project? Do you have a map frame added to the layout that references the map? And just to confirm, if you look at the Map Properties for the map that is the same one referenced by the map frame in the layout, it has the name that you'd like to use for the title, correct? What is it that you aren't seeing? The title isn't populated for the "Name of Map" property in the Dynamic Text dropdown?

Looks like the script works on a text field. I'm guessing your RDCLASS is either a Short or Long? raze Can you verify that the script should work with integers as well as text?

Try this. From the line symbol Properties Structure dialog (the little wrench), under Layers > choose Add symbol layer. Add Marker Layer. Switch back to the Properties > Layers dialog part of the pane and you'll see that in addition to the standard solid stroke part of the line, you now have a shape marker layer. You can follow the step from the previous post to click Font > search ESRI Arrowhead and choose a symbol you want. Under Marker Placement the placement can be set to Along line and control the frequency with the Placement template. Here is a placement template of 50: Here is what it defaulted to at first with a placement template of 16:

Click on the line symbol in the table of contents to open the Symbology pane. In the Gallery search for Arrow. Choose one of the options (I'll choose Arrow at End) and then switch to the Properties. Shape marker should be highlighted > click on Font > find the ESRI Arrowhead font. Choose a style of arrowhead and adjust its properties.

You should be able to configure this in the popup: Configure pop-ups—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop If the documentation doesn't help, we'll need more details to see if we can help get it set up. Also of note is that clicking with the Explore tool in Pro will give you a popup which is what is discussed in the link to documentation above. This isn't the same as the Identify tool in ArcMap, but I think should work to give you the link to a file that you need. Hope this helps!

Anna, parcel management is coming to ArcGIS Pro. See the https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/arcgis-pro/blog/2017/07/10/arcgis-pro-roadmap?sr=search&searchId=645c5b5a-b091-49d3-bc01-0f0a6a5d42cb&searchIndex=0 We'll likely see that next year. In the meantime, ArcMap isn't being retired anytime soon. There are answers to those concerns provided in the Esri UC Q & A from this year: Questions and Answers | 2017 Esri User Conference

Hi Elle W To edit field aliases on the data source in Pro, open the Fields View. That can be done from the layer's context menu > Design > Fields Or from the Attribute Table triple-stack menu > Fields View Or from the Table View ribbon... anyway, you get the point; there are different ways to get there. From Fields View make sure that you change the dropdown at the top from the Layer name to Data Source Now changing your aliases can be done directly on the data source so that it is permanent. Does that help?
