Thanks for the detailed and helpful response on this thread xander_bakker I wanted to chime in to let you know that we've made the development team aware and they have entered this as an issue to consider. Thank you!

I just tried this with some of my own data and do not see the same behavior. Can you check the Description of your coded value domain and make sure the repeated text doesn't occur there? Otherwise, can you send a zipped file gdb that contains the domain and the data so that we can take a look? Thanks

Take a map offline—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop was introduced at Pro 2.1. That allows us to create an offline geodatabase that can be used to sync multiple times with a feature service. Does that help?

If you're using the standard basemap, that cannot be customized because the tiles are just images. You should look at the vector tile version and see the Customize this map section: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=c11ce4f7801740b2905eb03ddc963ac8

Joe, A good place to look for what is coming in Pro is the https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/arcgis-pro/blog/2018/02/02/arcgis-pro-roadmap?sr=search&searchId=1767994e-d082-41dc-8122-cd4f11178056&searchIndex=0 The team will be re-working the format on that to make the comments easier to follow (i.e. comments will only be related to the current roadmap). Look for that to be improved in the coming months. The roadmap is not a function-by-function view of development plans. If there is something specific that you do in ArcMap that you are not able to accomplish in ArcGIS Pro, we would like to hear about that and you have options for communicating requirements to us. Probably the most accountable way is to open a case with technical support. I like this because sometimes when we can't find something in Pro, it is because things are done a different way and we actually can do what we need to, just differently. When the functionality really isn't there, Support can look to see if there is already an equivalency issue or enhancement request logged for Pro and attach you to that. You can then track that issue. Other options are to search ArcGIS Ideas to see if there is an idea for what you need. Up vote and provide your user story in the comments. Otherwise, you can continue to communicate through GeoNet and we'll do our best to help. As for the replication question in Pro, it looks like there is a conversation at https://community.esri.com/thread/185178-replication-tool-support-for-arcgis-pro Perhaps providing your specific workflow/how you use replication as a comment and question on that thread would get a more specific response. For other tools not yet in ArcGIS Pro, are there specific tools that you're looking for to be able to move your work into Pro?

I like Joe Borgione's perspective from March 15th, It's just going to take some time to ramp up. I survived ArcInfo to ArcView and ArcView to ArcMap, and fully embrace That Which Does Not Kill Me, Makes Me Stronger..... In my role, I interact a lot with our customers - some are long-time users of Esri products spanning everything that Joe mentions above, and others are learning on ArcGIS Pro. Depending on what previous experience you bring to the table, your experience with ArcGIS Pro will be different. I wanted to chime in on this thread to make sure that those who aren't aware of all of the available resources to get started with ArcGIS Pro have a go-to list. This list is constantly growing so you'll want to check back periodically on things like learn.arcgis.com and training.esri.com. Also, stay current on the releases and check out the what's new section for each release: What's new in ArcGIS Pro 2.1—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop Here’s my curated “must review” list: For ArcMap users Going Pro: ArcGIS Pro Essentials for ArcMap Users Quick Start tutorials Here’s is a more exhaustive list of resources: Overview of ArcGIS Pro Licensing ArcGIS Desktop licensing Named User licensing in ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Pro Named User licensing Terminology Guide http://www.esri.com/library/brochures/pdfs/arcgis-pro-terminology-guide.pdf Training: Tutorials and Exercises Quick Start tutorials Learn.arcgis.com Lesson Gallery (filter by Product = ArcGIS Pro) Migrating from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Pro: Essential Workflows Help For ArcMap users Import a style into the project Python in ArcGIS Pro Analyze Tools For Pro Analyze custom geoprocessing tools for ArcGIS Pro Python migration from 10.x to ArcGIS Pro Migrating from arcpy.mapping to ArcGIS Pro Migrating arcpy.na to ArcGIS Pro ModelBuilder: migration to ArcGIS Pro Migrate locators to ArcGIS Pro Migrate raster catalogs to geodatabase mosaic datasets Upgrade Dataset Migration from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro for data validation Tools that are not available in ArcGIS Pro Videos Going Pro: ArcGIS Pro Essentials for ArcMap Users ArcGIS Pro Editing Essentials ArcGIS Pro: Tips and Tricks ArcGIS Pro YouTube Playlist Blogs Dude, where's my Catalog?
