This should be improved in ArcGIS Pro 2.4 when it releases. The issue was that right-clicking a field header in Example:2 launched the Calculate Field tool but did not populate the Input Table correctly (it incorrectly populated with Example:1). I realize that there may be use cases for having layers with the same name, but even with the future fix for this, it is still recommended to provide unique layer names.

I think you nailed this, Tom. The request has been out there for a while (https://community.esri.com/ideas/2826 + an internal enhancement request) but really with the introduction of Contingent Attribute Values many use cases should be covered.

Scott - there isn't an idea as far as I can tell. This is being tracked as [BUG-000109755: The printer margins are not displayed in the ArcGIS Pro layout.] If you need to be attached to that issue, you can call technical support. Otherwise, if you just want to track it, you can go to support.esri.com, search for the bug and then subscribe.

Dan, the personal use license comes with a Creator user type:ArcGIS for Personal Use Program | ArcGIS Desktop Advanced for Personal Use So yes, that Personal Use account will have an organization account used to license ArcGIS Pro. On the other hand, if the ArcGIS Online user just has a public account (not associated with an organization) it can't be used to authorize Pro.

Thanks, John. I agree with Joshua Bixby - nice write up! I did just want to clarify that Python add-ins for ArcGIS Pro are still under consideration (the status on this one is accurate).

If there was a crash bug logged (i.e. it has a BUG-number) then it would be documented.

Hey Tom. What happened? I thought you guys weren't using Pro Definitely better to apply Patch 1 on top of 2.3 for any testing as it did address a handful of crashes. Patch 2 will be much larger, incorporating a number of bug and crash fixes - expect to see that in a few weeks.

Hi Zachary Hart. I checked in with our dev team and they wanted to share the following steps: 1. Reset your ArcGIS Pro environment back to the default (arcgispro-py3). Close Pro. 2. Launch the "Python Command Prompt" and activate your out of date environment: activate <name> 3. Change directory to the default user location for environments: cd %LocalAppData%/Esri/Conda 4. Export the environment to a file: conda env export > env.yaml 5. Get a list of any pip installed packages,: @echo writing pip installed packages to pip.txt && conda list | for /f "usebackq" %f in (`findstr "<pip"`) do @echo %f > pip.txt 6. If you want to be extra safe, you can make an archive of the environment you’re upgrading at this point. Then, activate the root environment so we can remove the original: deactivate 7. Now, we will remove the out of date environment: conda env remove -n <name> 8. Create a clone of the default 2.3 arcgispro-py3 environment: conda create --name <name> --clone arcgispro-py3 9. Overlay the packages that were in the old environment: conda env update -n <name> -f file.yml 10. Set this environment as the default for Pro (if wanted): proswap <name> 11. The last step is to look at the list of pip installed packages in pip.txt, and install those if needed with pip install <package name>

Joe - looks like maybe you were seeing [BUG-000107849: ArcGIS Pro does not use the first line from an Excel table as field names.] I'm glad you've figured it out for now. More discussion if you're interested over on https://community.esri.com/thread/180986 including some more technical explanation by Colin Zwicker.

Hi Teresa - thank you for working with Support on this issue. I wanted to close the loop for the community here. [BUG-000120201: Unable to open ArcGIS Pro 2.3.15769 after checking out a Concurrent Use license from ArcGIS License Manager 2018 and then going offline.] was logged and will be fixed in Patch 2 currently scheduled for March 21st. We apologize for the inconvenience that we know this has caused. Please look for Patch 2 when the update becomes available. Thanks again.

Hi Michael, I'd like to say yes, however, since these were intermittent crashes that aren’t associated with specific reproducible steps, we’re not able to provide specific scenarios. Typically, if a crash is caused be consistently reproducible steps it gets logged as a bug. Then, in the issues addressed list we would be able to cite that very specific thing.
