For fun, to see if there would be a difference between 32-bit ArcGIS for Desktop and 64-bit ArcGIS Pro, I ran a simple geoprocessing task with both. I have a modelbuilder model that: - Creates a new mosaic dataset in a file geodatabase - Adds rasters to the mosaic dataset - Defines and builds overviews - Defines mosaic dataset NoData On the same computer, I ran this model in ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced and then I ran it in ArcGIS Pro. Processing Time Results: ArcGIS for Desktop = 7 minutes 15 seconds ArcGIS Pro = 11 minutes 23 seconds I’m surprised that the 64-bit ArcGIS Pro application took 57% longer to run the model and process the data.

I've seen strange behavior during editing tasks in AGOL maps (map viewer and Web AppBuilder) depending on which browser you are using. I have found the best behavior when using Chrome or Firefox. I am currently editing in a Web AppBuilder map using IE 11 and it is working just fine.

Chris: Once you are finished with your edit, just click somewhere on the map away from your feature and the edit will be automatically committed to the feature service. No Save button is necessary - it's that easy!

Warren: In ArcGIS Pro, click on the Insert tab then choose the Import Map option. This will allow you to import an MXD and get your custom map layout from ArcMap into Pro.

You stated that you have a 30-day free trial to ArcGIS Online. You have a username and password to get into AGOL and make a map? In the Collector app, are you using the URL to your AGOL trial account? <sitename>.maps.arcgis.com

Saskia: The Collector for ArcGIS app will work for you, but you have to prepare you map properly. Importantly, the map cannot contain an non-editable layers or map will not appear available in Collector. For instance, Map Notes are not editable in Collector, so a map with Map Notes in the table of contents will not appear in Collector. This Online Help is a great place to start: Create maps—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

OK - I found it. When using >Search for Layers >In: ArcGIS Online with key words "point source water" no correct search results were returned. When using keywords NPDES, the "USA Permitted Point Source Water Pollution" service was returned in the results. Interesting how particular keyword searches can be. Joe

Kathryn: I am at your beautiful Living Atlas of the World website/gallery and have found content I would like to add to my map in ArcGIS Online. I am a member of ArcGIS Online for Organizations subscription. When logged into AGOL, I cannot see how to add Living Atlas content. For instance, in the Living Atlas I see "USA Permitted Point Source Water Pollution", but in AGOL I tried to find this Living Atlas content via >Add >Search for Layers >ArcGIS Online and >Esri Map Layers - also >Add >Browse Esri Map Layers and I am unable to find this Living Atlas content. As a member of an ArcGIS Online subscription, what is the best way to discover and use Living Atlas content? Thank you.

Venus: I'm not sure of your workflow, but I am using "secured" features services from our ArcGIS for Server in my Web AppBuilder map. My workflow is as follows: Add a secure feature service to "My Content" in AGOL. Make sure to "Store" the UN/PW with the service. Create and Save a new map in AGOL that includes your secure feature service. Share the map and feature service with a Group In the new map, use the "Share" then "Make a Web Application" options to build your Web AppBuilder map. Configure your Web AppBuilder map making sure to enable editing as I discuss in an earlier posting in this thread. Save and use the web map app.

Joshua: Thank you for the clarification. I get it, now. I agree - not elegant, but it's beta for Release 1.0 and I have high hopes for Release 2.0 and beyond. We use SQL Server enterprise databases and we do a "Direct Connect" to those databases. It works great at our desktops and with ArcGIS for Server. I appreciate your time and expertise. I look forward to learning ArcGIS Pro and hope that it becomes more of a "production" worthy application in the future. We're all taking baby steps.
