Is an AGOL user able to add 3rd party widgets to their app? We have an organizational AGOL account and some users want to create apps using the WAB. I know Robert S has developed some widgets that greatly expand functionality. But I'm not sure how to instruct them to add the widget.

I've asked this same question to ESRI support and it's not possible. Since event layers are actually stored in the MXD, they are treated as temporary data. They have to be manually updated to fix the broken links.

Try using the Analysis Tools > Statistics > Summary Statistics, on the result of the spatial join. This should Sum up your number of turbines (statistics Field) for each parcel number buffer (case field).

We are also seeing issues with this error #2023 on some IE browsers and not others. We are looking into Roberts suggestion to check on the MIME settings on IIS 7, as I write.

After working with ESRI Support, it turns out that the service was wacky or something. Once I recreated the service, modifications to the service were reflected in good old AGOL.

Try looking into Linear Referencing (dynamic segmentation). Going this route, you do not have to break your centerlines up to allow for various attributes.

I have a service that is published on our ArcGIS Server. I've added this service as a feature service to our organizational AGOL account and used in a map assembled for Collector. I've since had to updated the map doc from which the service was created from with an additional layer. Overwritten the service and it appears as I would expect at the rest end point Why is it that the feature service in AGOL, that was generated from this service (still the same name) is not updating/refreshing??

Thanks Anthony! Yes, I just discovered that a field name had changed and was being referenced by the old name in the eSearch config xml file. Once I updated the config file, all was well. Thanks again.

I have two file geodatabases(FGDB): one a copy of the other with an additional year of feature classes. I've been using the original one for services used in eSearch widget with great success. I copied the original FGDB and added an additional years of feature classes. Any eSearch services hitting the new FGDB return "[RPC Fault faultString="Failed to execute query." faultCode="400" faultDetail=""]". Any ideas on why a service using the same year from two different FGDB's works in one and not the other?
