Thanks, Amanda. I am not working with ArcGIS Server here. I am only working currently with ArcGIS Online in this instance. Raster tile caches are far too large (too many files) to publish directly to AGO. That is one of the functions of the tile package format. That format bundles the large volume of tile cache tiles for better transport. I'm just hoping there is a way to split them up before and after to get around AGO's file size upload limit (500 Gb).

Does anyone know if I can combine multiple tile packages into a single hosted tile layer? My tile cache is larger than 500 Gb (ArcGIS Online upload limit) when exported to a tile package (.tpkx), so I tried exporting specific scales to multiple tile packages. Can they be "re-assembled" after I share them to ArcGIS Online? Thanks, Mike

Strangely enough, moving to a smaller instance type actually produced much better CPU utilization. Solved

I'm running ArcGIS Pro 3.0.1 on an AWS EC2 Windows instance. I'm running the Manage Tile Cache GP tool. All inputs and outputs are being accessed from and written to iops (fast) EBS disks. I'm creating down to Level 22 (141 scale) using the ArcGIS Online tiling scheme. My Parallel Processing Factor is set to "100%". BTW - I've also tried "200%" and "16" which both yielded the same results. Here is the problem - I'm not getting much more than 5-10% CPU utilization. Any thoughts on why? Thanks, Mike

We have not tested a warm pool, but would be very interested in the results. We have had the same experience with our auto-scaling group - about 20-30 minutes before a new instance has fully joined the site.

New Timeline Widget looks nice. I was hoping I could use it with my historic imagery tiled services, but it doesn't look like it works with hosted tiled layers. Boo Hoo

Does anyone know if it is possible to use webhooks (Integromat) to automatically assign new Portal users to groups? I've read the documentation, but I'd like to hear from someone who has tried this or something similar. Any other methods of auto-assigning users to groups are also welcome. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks Portal 10.7.1 or newer is being/can be used Mike S

Hi Sam Yes - ACM. I've already done this successfully last year with stand-alone ArcGIS Server and Cloudformation. I had to create the Load Balancer first using the Cloudformation template and the ARN of my ACM cert, then I was able to reference the load balancer and leave the cert out of the Cloudformation template for the stand-alone ArcGIS Server site. That setup has been running in production for about 18 months now. I was wondering if I could do the same thing with Enterprise. I may just need to try it. Thanks for the feedback

Does anyone know if I can deploy ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 on AWS using either Cloud Builder or a CloudFormation template and an AWS SSL certificate? We did this with a stand-alone ArcGIS Server Cloudformation deployment a few years ago. Wondering if it is supported with ArcGIS Enterprise? Thanks Mike S

Hi Will I can successfully share smaller .tpkx's - I do that all of the time. I can't say what specific size threshold starts giving me problems, but I have yet to hear of someone who has successfully shared a tile package this large successfully. I have created a smaller tile package of this same data (imagery tile built using fewer scales) and been able to share it and publish it fine. Are there other ways to publish large tile packages to AGO?

I have been trying to use the Share Package tool in ArcGIS Pro to share a couple of tile packages (.tpkx) that are larger than 500 Gb (750 Gb and 1.4 Tb). I have not had any success. I've tried this from multiple machines on multiple networks with plenty of bandwidth availability. I don't typically get an error - the progress just stops at 2% and just sits there for days and days. I have let one of the process run for nearly ten days, so I've been pretty patient. It just doesn't seem to be doing anything after a while. Can anyone tell me if they have successfully shared packages this size or larger? Thanks

I'm not using any custom formatting. Just selected the font size and color from the dropdowns. I may submit something to Support.

Is anyone else seeing this issue? I guess the simple solution is to shrink the font size, but I thought the font would auto-adjust to it's window??
